AAMCO Transmission

The consumer had a issue with their vehicle the Tuesday before thanksgiving. The consumer had their vehicle towed to this location.The company stated that the vehicle needed a new transmission.The consumer was told that it would cost between $2,000-$2,700 to repair the issue. The consumer picked the vehicle up on December 6th 2019 and paid between $2,100-2,200 for the repairs. The consumer had one of the employees ride for about thirty minutes on December 6th,2019 to make sure there was no further issue. During this time the consumer had to rent a vehicle. The consumer had the same issue as before within hours of picking up the vehicle. The consumer has tried to reach out the the company about this issue. They stated that their should not be any issue with the vehicle. They stated that the work was warrantied but has not given the consumer any information on when they can make the repairs. The consumer was informed that the transmission had been rebuilt so the consumer would like for the company to pay for and or reimburse the consumer for a second car rental while the repairs are being done.
