transmission, AAMCO Mankato had her and her family back on the road the afternoon of 12/29/15. It is noted on her paperwork of the concern of the large tandem trailer she was pulling with the Trailblazer, especially because of the distance and terrain she was driving through. I told [redacted] when she arrived in Portland, OR that she take her vehicle to an AAMCO center to have a complimetary 2 week check done, which she did and was told everything was good, this was done around the 10th of Jan 2016. Around 4/5/16 she took the Trailblazer back to AAMCO Center on [redacted] with transmission concerns. AAMCO Mankato recieved a call on 4/19/16 asking authorization to make a warranty repair on transmission, basically another rebuild of the transmission as it had major problems. Car was promised to be returned to [redacted] by 4/22/16. [redacted] was very unhappy with the Portland Center at that time for how long it took to repair the transmission. I understood her concerns, but told her I did not even know she had a problem until 4/19/16 I appologised on behalf of Portland, and authorized repairs immediatly. [redacted] returned to Portland on 5/11/16 with transmission problems, of which they told her they did not experience any problems. Not trusting Portlands diagnosis, she took the Trailblazer to the AAMCO Center at [redacted] in Vancouver, WA on 7/11/16 to have them diagnose the continuing problems she was having. They told her that the transmission had water introduced into it, and that the transmission was experiencing problems because of this. They also told her that the transmission problems were not covered under warranty because of the water contamination, which is a true statement. I have no choice at this time but to believe them. [redacted]'s dad used to be a mechanic, and he says he sees no evidence of water contamination. I did tell [redacted] that she may want to get a neutral evaluation, either from another transmission shop or a Chevy Dealership. At this time I have no reason not to believe the Vancouver AAMCO Center, of which on the back of [redacted]'s paperwork it says that water comtamination problems are not covered under warranty. I will be happy to provide this information to whoever requests it . Thank you very much for all your help in this matter, Kevin, Owner of AAMCO Mankato.
