Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] had their transmission rebuilt by us at the end of January. They had to rent a car while we fixed their vehicle. They picked up the vehicle and paid a total of $1800.00 and have a balance of $501.49. We had made a deal with them that we would pay half of the car rental for them. When they picked up the vehicle we told them that we would pay all of the car rental and they would have 10 days to pay the remaining balance. We normally would have kept the car until the entire bill was paid but they only have one car and we knew they would be good for the remaining amount. The transmission also has a 12,000 mile 12 month national warranty that's included in the price of the transmission. They can go to any Aamco Transmissions in the country and have it fixed. On monday february 10,2014 Mr and Mrs [redacted] came into Aamco with no appointment. We were busy that day but told them we would look at it as soon as possible. They had said they were having a driveability issue and it wouldn't get up to speed. We brought the car in and experienced the problem like they said. Our shop manager wanted another mechanic to drive the car to get his opinion to see if it could be fixed that day or if the transmission would have to come out of the car. We pulled the car out of the garage and put the keys on the counter. Before we could explain what we needed to do to the [redacted]'s they took the keys off the counter and took the car. [redacted], who runs this aamco location, called them and explained that we were waiting for the other mechanic to get back so he could test drive the car. [redacted] told the [redacted]'s that he didn't want them to get stranded and to bring the car back. The [redacted]s brought the car back and placed the keys on the counter. After 10 or 15 minutes they took back their keys and left again. [redacted] again called them and they had said that Mr. [redacted] needed to go home and get some sleep. [redacted] told them to bring the car in the next morning instead, which they did. It seems to have an electrical issue, which normally isn't included in the warranty, but since the time frame was so short we said we would repair it at no charge to them. We have said from the beginning that we would fix this and at no time treated them with nothing but respect. We are in the process of fixing it and it will be done shortly.

Review: Client collected $1700 to rebuild transmission and it is still not working; we went back two times and we just sat without anyone saying anything to us. Then we were called to bring the truck back but not sure if this service will be done right.Desired Settlement: Car was not fixed to our satisfaction still have the same problem with transmission; no power cannot go beyond 30 miles an hour.
