After lunch was going to do night drop off (not realizing that Ammco didn?t have night drop off), asked a friend to follow me as I figured the governor was going to fail AGAIN. However, this time it drove pretty well and didn?t seem to have much issues shifting out of 1 and 2, and the higher gears were okay. On my way home lower gears were fine again, but the higher gears between 35 and 50/55 were a little rough but extremely loud until it shifts into 60 mph.Picked up from AAMCO still didn?t feel right but shifted through gears.7/15 Called AAMCO told them that the transmission was going to fail again that I would try to get from [redacted] to the shop in [redacted]. Truck stuck in first will not shiftProduct_Or_Service: rebuilt transmissionDesired SettlementI have been told twice that the transmission will be replaced. on the 15th I was told when I called to get the truck towed that a transmission was on the way. today I was told all they did was replace a wire harness and connector and for my daughter to try again. this is unacceptable.she has been stranded and broken down on the side of the road at least 4 times. My daughter uses this truck to tow show horses with. but has been unable to due to this unreliable rebuilt transmission.Bureau CommentConsumer called on 8/23/16 to say he was satisfied with how the business handled his complaint.
