Hi, my name is Michael and I just wanted to post about my experiences with my local AAMCO repair shop (WHillsborough Ave.)I have had two occasions to use their services, and both times I have been extremely impressed with their courteousness, professionalism, and most of all H-O-N-E-S-T-YThe first time I visited them I had the transmission fluid changed for my aging car, and on the second I took it in to find out why it kept wanting to stall outDuring both of these visits they could have very easily exaggerated the damages and taken me to the cleaners, and I would have been none the wiserYet, the complete opposite happenedI have been treated with honesty and respect, and I can safely say that my local AAMCO is now my shop of choice(A special thanks to both John and Jose!)

Aamco employee/mechanic sold me a lemon at Aamco location months ago that now needs a new engine! I want a full refund!i have retained an attorney At the end of march I purchased a vehicle from Aamco sold by an employee at the aamco locationI had the vehicle checked by this employee since he is a mechanic there.the van I was told was perfect! Had brand new everything! I am not a mechanic and aamco is a well known establishment so I purchased it cash!!! I had to take the vehicle back to aamco NUMEROUS times the following week for MAJOR repairs....the owner [redacted] made the employee fix it for free that time..they knew he was wrong.they kept apologizing to me the whole SEVEN HOURS I waited for it to be "fixed" I have been to the er with anxiety since...numerous times.stranded numerous times with my year old daughter.and have spent everything I have in repairsI want a full refund! I have an appointment friday with an attorney if I haven't recieved a refund by then I will retai

Took the car in for diagnostic scan, due to the call stalling at a stop Mike at the front desk told me it need a few other repairs Very dissatisfied with the customer service received from Mike at the front deskI'm years old took the car in for a diagnostic scan, reason for scan ,when at a STOP the car would shut offMike informed me, that the car needed a few other repairsNeedless to say to the tune of $1,After days my I picked up the car, and the next day the car had the same issueWhen I called Mike, he told me if this continues bring in back in daysThe car was back in the shop, every day I would call and was told the part isn't in yetCall back in two days, call back after 2:00PM, this went on for weeksMy nice got involved to assist me, She called and spoke with Mike on Sunday 8/20/2017, he was rude and told her to call back on MondayWhen she called on Monday, he was rude and hung up the phone on herWe decided to go in person, Mike said they ha

Was told it would be a day job and after days I am still waiting I contacted AAmco to request a quote on Clutch replacement on my Camero manual speed due to bearing noiseafter I received the estimate I asked how long will it take? Greg replied "bring it to me in the morning and it will be done the next day On Monday March 20, at apx am I brought my car in and Greg took all my information he said he would give me a call on Tuesday I did not hear from him or anyone from the shop so on Wednesday morning he called me explaining that he had some issues with some other front wheel car and he will get to mine and it should be done by the end of the dayno call..On Thursday I contacted him to check status where he explained that he had issues with replacing the through out bearing & had to clean up the carrier etc; and now has problem with slave cylinder having air on a pre-blead unit he advised that he would look at using the old one which was nothing wrong with

I brought my car in due to a thumping noise after Firestone replaced my rear brakes on my car twice. Greg & his team found that another mechanic had used an excessive amount of spray on the brakes which was causing the noise. His team removed the spray and also checked the both the front and back breaks at no cost to me!

It is great to find a an honest mechanic that will fix what is needed!
