Why is this place still in business? WHY? AAPC scam hard-working people who aspire to a better wage in the already inflated economy out of their money knowing you are a fraud. Please beware. I passed the 6.5 out of 8 categories with an 85-100% and you say I failed? HOW? HOW? I asked a dingbat how do they score on the exam, and she says by the number of questions you have right versus the number you had wrong. Well Sherlock Holmes, as you can see I clearly passed the majority of the exam categories, how did I fail? She gave me the same answer and hung up. This place is a scam. I should have read the better business bureau reviews before giving them my money.

There is an online exam issue when selecting an answer. Each question is multiple choice and when selecting the answer, you have to click on the radio button to the left. While taking the exam I noticed that if you click outside of the answer selection button, it will change your answer. So as you are moving towards the bottom right and you click anywhere in the area, you can change your answer and not notice and therefore you get the answer wrong. I filed a complaint, requesting a review of my recorded test to show that this could have been the reason for my failing grade and I should at least have a retake attempt due to the faulty answer selection. They responded and stated I was not eligible and nothing else. I have been trying to pass this test for over 2 years to no avail. They have not called me regarding my complaint just simply responded via email with a vague and unfair response. I truly feel this test is programed wrong and many test takers could have failed and will fail due to this issue. I have no way to validate my test results since they will not share my test and recording. I am Highly disappointed and feel defrauded.

I was unable to take my test due to my internet going out with the storm I called but they are closed on saturday because my cable was not up and running by the exam time, I called that Monday to open a ticket well today they tell me in order to review I need documentation from the cable provider in order for them to review; what? it took me months to save up for this exam, this happened before with them, they are expensive and I hate that they are even apart of the coding world because they are not fair. The 5-star is solely for the exemplary customer service by Kaleena Noell! I have been trying AAPC for the "A" to be removed from my CPC for almost 3 weeks, and consistently received a "NO REPLY" email from AAPC Apprentice removals team. That being said, I do, respect company protocol.

Kaleena however, reached out to assist me. She is extremely polite, helpful and honestly- goes out of her way to understand someone's situation. She was on top of things without a doubt. I have never really had an issue with AAPC but in a crunch situation- it's truly heartening that there are still individuals out there- like Kaleena to provide the much needed assistance with utmost sophistication.
She deserves to me promoted and given accolades for her outstanding service.

I purchased AAPC medical coding with medical terminology. I could've use those over $5,000.00 for something way better or to put into a better normal length medical course. The course is way too short for the amount of information and when you call AAPC no help is given. I paid cash and regret it terribly. I am still on the course and will end on august 27th. Total waste of my time and money. I should've used another college with proper length. From May to August is no time to learn not even the basics of coding. I am very disappointed. Do not go to AAPC They are just a name.

They charge you so much for appc exchange 3 times higher than market price of appc. Stealing your money and giving you less value.. $10 only gave 1000apc but the market shows had to atleast get 3400appc. #delete biggest scam ever!

I purchased this course for well over 3000 dollars, completed all classes and on my first attempt to pass test I didn't do so well. I scored a 57. I continued to study and was well prepared for my retest. I had to drive 1 and 1/2 hrs to test. I got there on time ready to test and was then informed the instructor had forgotten the test and had to go get them. Therefore we had to sit there for another hour before starting the test. I sit for over 6 hrs with no break and I believe that effected my test score. I brought my grade from a 57 to a 69 one point from passing. I know I could have passed the test if things had went the way they should have. I tried calling about this problem and was told I would receive a call back. No one ever called so now my time is almost up, I have to pay more money to retest and more money to extend my time. All AAPC did for me is take my money that I could really use considering I am still out of work and was trying to improve my life. If you ask me the most important thing you should not forget is the test very unproffesional.

I received my certifications (CPC, CPB) through AAPC after purchasing and completing their courses, then out of the blue they charged me $192.00 for something I never requested (Codify). I've sent several requests for cancelation and reimbursement and never receive a response. I need to keep my credentials for my job but really do not want to continue with AAPC. Any info on what I can do next is greatly appreciated.

I was recently on a live AAPC webinar. In addition to the presentation there was a chat box where all attendees were able to interact with each other. I was of the opinion that chat was available so that we could discuss the presentation and get feedback from our peers. I questioned the validity of some of the information and was strongly criticized by someone else in the chat. I have no issue with that. I was not aware that the chat was not intended for free and open discourse.
I do have an issue with the fact that this person not only had access to my personal information - name, credentials, job title and Employer but also posted all my information in the group chat where hundreds of attendees viewed it. Some of them colleagues at my company.
If this person was an AAPC employee this is unacceptable behavior and a violation of my privacy rights. If they are not an AAPC employee, how did they have access to my personal information? Also a violation of my priavcy.
