Thank you for the opportunity to reply to the complaint made by [redacted] against AardvarkAdaptive Modifications, LLC. I am the owner of the company, [redacted]. First of all, I would liketo advise you that Mr. [redacted]’s [redacted] is about one and a half hour away from our shop. He residesin a mobile [redacted] that has a skirt around the bottom of it. I recall three times that Mr. [redacted]called us stating that he had no water. The problem was that his pipes were frozen. On oneoccasion, he also contacted the owner of the mobile [redacted] park and the owner came out andwent under his mobile [redacted] to check the pipes. He was going to do work on the main watersupply line because it was frozen. When the owner was done, he left the skirt off and thiscreated more of a problem because the pipes were no longer protected from the cold air.Although it was not in our contract with Mr. [redacted] we went to his [redacted] and installed extrainstallation around the pipes to help to keep them from freezing in the subzero weather thatwe had last winter. I do believe that my employees also left the skirting off one time but weresponded in a timely manner and put it back up.It is important to us that we do the right thing and it is frustrating to overcome design flawsthat are not affiliated with our work. As a courtesywe are replacing the door for him, but if he leans on the new door the same thing will happenagain, and it will not be covered under warrantee. From the very start we have done a qualityjob for Mr. [redacted]. We have done work for him that was not our responsibility. We servicethe elderly and the disabled, we are not a general contractor. We always take pride in our workand do our best to please and help our customers to stay as independent as possible.Thank you for your time,[redacted]
