Review: Aardvark Remodeling replaced a portion of our roof on June 13, 2015 leaving a 3 yard bag of demolition debris in our driveway for pick-up from waste management company they had contracted out as part of the price. They were instructed to remove the debris before a public viewing of the home on June 28th. The dumpster of debris was not only here during the public viewing of the property making it very difficult tonavigate around, it is STILL in the driveway. Literally dozens of calls were placed with promises to pick up - even if it required sending a crew over to load company trucks instead of waiting for waste management pick-up. Aardvark will no longer return phone calls, and it appears they have decided to leave debris in driveway and save the demolition debris removal cost on the contract. The waste management website states that they will pick up debris within 5 days of bag drop off. It has been 17 days. What is my recourse?Desired Settlement: Pick up demolition debris immediately with either an appropriate apology or discount or both.

Review: I had them put a new roof on my house in June 2013 and the caps began to fall off in Sept 2013. I called the office (2) and the owner(1) and left messages on voicemail and with the receptionist.....They have not returned my calls. The owner [redacted], I am being told is not reliable with follow up work............and does not return calls.Desired Settlement: fix the caps that are falling/ chipping off the roof.

Mr. [redacted] did call on around September 20. And reported missing roof caps from his roof. I went out on October 8 Tuesday to inspect the roof and did not find any missing caps. Apparently my office did not relay this information to Mr. [redacted] I have since gone back out on November 23 Saturday to inspect the roof again and once again I found no missing caps the piece of shingle Mr. [redacted] found must have been debris left over from the original install my apology for the poor communication

Review: July 2014- new roof and gutters installed. Job included removing old roof materials down to plywood. Bathroom vent hood removed in this process. Contractor installed new roof over existing hole in plywood and never installed a new bathroom vent hood to connect to existing duct inside attic. September 2014- noticed water stain on ceiling in bathroom. Pulled back attic insulation and discovered hole in plywood with roof singles visible through the hole. Plywood wet around and below the hole. Bathroom duct not connected so moist air from bathroom venting into attic. Contacted contractor and asked for the job to be completed with installation of new bathroom vent hood connected to existing bathroom duct in attic. Contractor replaced plywood only to cover the hole. Bathroom vent hood never installed on roof and bathroom duct still venting moist air into attic. Contractor has not returned any phone calls or emails over the past 2 months requesting the job to be finished.Desired Settlement: A bathroom vent hood should be installed and connected to existing duct in the attic.

Review: In June 2007 Aardvark Remodeling put a new roof on our house. There is a limited warranty. In April 2015 we noticed ice damming on one corner on the right side of the house. On May 2, 2015 I called the company. On or about May 4, 2015 [redacted] called me back. He stated he would come on that Friday, May 8th 2015.

He never came and I have left several messages and emailed him through [redacted] in early June 2015.

I have not gotten a reply yet.Desired Settlement: For [redacted] to rectify the ice damming issue.

Review: On May 15,2014 Aardvark Remodeling came to my house to repair a leak in the chimney. Years ago, under different ownership, Aardvark put a new roof on my house & approximately2 years ago a new roof on my barn. All was done to my satisfaction.The May 15th experience was not satisfactory. Aardvark's owner said they do not do chimney work but he brought along a [redacted] who is a chimney expert. [redacted] worked for about an hour and he said the charge was $600.00, which I paid by check. The next day I called Aardvark because [redacted] never gave me an invoice and requested Aardvark contact him to send me said invoice. The day after that I called Aardvark to say the leak was still there and to have [redacted] return to finish fixing the leak. Aardvark has never answered my phone calls that total 7 relative to: the lack of the invoice and that the chimney still has a leak.Desired Settlement: 1) receive an invoice for the $600 paid to [redacted]2) make whatever repairs necessary to fix the leak.
