time oftax preparation, the most recent of which was sent in May of The service issue noted in thiscomplaint began when the individual verbally requested that my firm disclose a jointly filed 2015tax return directly to a third party.The security of my clients’ personal information and adherence to Federal and State lawfor any such disclosure is of the utmost importance to my firmMy firm has explained theinformation required to process a request for tax return information disclosure to both theindividual and to the third parties who contacted my office as representatives of the individual.Most recently on August 7, 2017, my firm again detailed the requirements for the requested taxreturn disclosure in a letter to the individual and included a blank “Consent to Disclosure of TaxReturn Information” form via certified mail in an effort to ensure clarity and expedite theindividual’s request.To date, the individual has failed to provide a detailed written request to my firm, asrequired, nor has the individual returned the “Consent To Disclosure of Tax Return Information”formMy firm simply requests that the individual comply with the requirements for tax returninformation disclosure to an individual or directly to a third party, as explained and detailed, beforethis request can be processed.Very Truly,F* ** ***
