Worked with student to resolve all concerns and reached a favorable resolution.

The student was made aware of Kaplan's refund policy several times throughout her enrollment and does not meet the requirements for a refund. According to our refund policy, the student would have received a full refund if she cancelled within three days of her enrollment, and a...

partial refund if the request is made within a set time frame (within 8 days of enrollment).According to our records, the student attended the class sessions and we have no records of complaints about the instructor until after the class has ended.  The student has been offered a free repeat of her course under the Higher Score Guarantee and an exception has been made allowing her  up to  2 years from the current  date to enroll. We will not be issuing a refund to this student.

The student's dispute was fully resolved and a refund issued.

They have reached me but we have not sorted out the problem. As I said in my last mail, the international office based on London refuses refunding me the amount of money I am asking for; while the office in New York told me that they would refund me. Since I purchased the course through a website that is based in New York, I have the right to complain to New York. Furthermore, both offices sent me emails last week, London office told me that they will not pay me back; and New York office checked it if I had contacted with London. I did not reply London, but I answered New York telling them that they should contact Revdex.com to resolve the problem. Please, assist me because the issue is not resolved. After a thorough investigation the student was never misquoted, the discount we've provided is the maximum that can be applied to their enrollment.

The student was entitled to receive as a refund, as such we have honored his request.

We reached out to understand the student's circumstances and were able to resolve her concerns.

In resolution of complaint #[redacted] I have spoken to the parent and we have come to mutual agreement. A full refund has been issued.

This matter was resolved back on February * 2016;  However seeing as the student has now requested to obtain a full refund so that she can study with a different institution, we have decided to honor her request.

satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. I do wish they had honored their guarantee without my having to file a Revdex.com complaint. It is not ethical to require customers to complain to an outside agency before abiding by the terms of your own guarantee. Regardless, the refund has been received.

We spoke with student and parent and explained what options were available. They decided Higher Score Guarantee Free Repeat was the best option and the enrollment was processed.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

We have reached out to this family and resolved their concerns.

Kaplan in the U.S. does not have the authority to refund what was paid to our London entity. Based on the student's usage of the program purchased, an appropriate refund was paid and an additional refund will not be issued.

Given what the parent has outlined, we have honored her request to obtain a full refund.
