Office manager failed to respond to my request for a timely appointment for a preliminary exam related to a pain issue in one or more of my teeth. Even though this was at first an urgent concern, I was given an appointment a week later. I also asked to have the dentist call me to discuss my problem. My urgent concern became a minor emergency requiring an endodontist. (I was experiencing severe pain and I have a high threshhold of discomfort.) In addition, I left a phone message for the dentist which was ignored. This was a very stressful experience and the office manager's attitude was one of total disregard lacking any interest in creating a 15 minute time frame for a brief assessment. ( I had been a patient for many years and was a patient when this dentist was new to the area.) After receiving endodontic treatment and having to find another general dentist, I called to relate my experience, but the office manager was not interested in my welfare and expressed an entirely negative (don't care) attitude. (Dentist's website states urgent cases can be seen within one businss day.) Subsequently, I left a voice mail message for the dentist, sent an e-mail and called several times. No response was ever received. No acknowledgement of my contacts was made. At one time this dentist seemed genuinely interested in patient welfare and related on a couteous, respectful, personal level. This, sadly, is no longer the case and I suspect that the incentive for profit and the greed factor have displaced quality, compassionate care. This office has shown no respect for me as a person or as a patient. This is pathetic and inexcusable.
