Aaron's E-Z Storage

I lost my debit card and neglected to inform these people. They socked me with $200 in late fees, almost twice what I owed. Ron *** (owner) will not communicate with me, failed to let me know (email is so easy to use) that I was one month behind.
I feel like Ron took advantage of me and charged way too much for late fees. It's not like I was trying to beat him out of the $$$, I've always paid off regularly, and this was an honest error on my part.
But there's a lesson in this: if you are doing business with someone who treats his customers lik this, it's time to take your business elsewhere.
I'll have my stuff off his premises very soon.

My storage unit was broken in to and they stole valuable collectibles. I discovered this December 22, 2019. They wouldn't even look at their video because they needed to know the day and time it was broken in to. Does that make sense? I would have to be there when it was broken in to too tell them the day and time it was broken in to. They say they check locks once a week, but then she says she missed last week. So that's at least 2 weeks of not checking. I would bet they NEVER check because I hadn't been to the unit for about 1 1/2 months and no one called me to say my lock was missing. I told them if they really did their job and checked DAILY LIKE OTHER FACILITIES they could have called me and I could have come to the office to review the video. BUT, the video loops every week so they couldn't see any one breaking in, BECAUSE OH YEAH THE CAMERAS WERE POINTED AT THE GROUND AND COULDN'T SPOT ANYTHING!!! After I discovered my lock was missing and raised *** a few days later they had the security camera people come out. I spoke with them and they said they have problems all the time with the cameras and they are hardly here so they can come work on anything.
I've discovered that most facilities check DAILY and let the person know something is wrong so they can check the cameras.
I asked if anything is going to change and check daily and adjust the cameras and she said, No probably not. I said that was the dumbest thing you could have said!! I told them that would go on their website but now I find out there isn't a way of leaving a review on their website because they took it down. They are LOSERS!!! I told them they don't care about anything but getting rent money. You can tell by how run down it is. I've even been there a few times on a Sunday and the gate was wide open and wouldn't close. I called several times to let them know and to call me because someone needed to come close the gate. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME. I COULD HAVE BEEN BROKE IN TO THEN WHO KNOWS!!
I WILL DO WHATEVER I CAN DO TO LET PEOPLE KNOW NOT TO STORE THERE!!!
I NEVER EVEN GOT AN APOLOGY. THEIR SCAPEGOAT IS TO CALL THE POLICE AND FILE A POLICE REPORT. THEY DONT CARE!! I'M OUT ROUGHLY $5k IN STOLEN VALUABLE COLLECTIBLES.
By the way I have filed a Greene County Sheriff report and have a case number and have been contacted by a detective.
Aarons EZ Storage NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!! THEY HAVE FALSOE ADVERTISING ON THEIR WEBSITE SAYING THEY HAVE 24 HOUR SECURITY. THE ONLY THING THEY SECURE IS MONTHLY RENT FROM SUCKERS. AND I'M ONE OF THE *** THAT WAS BROKE IN TO!
