These guys were great! Prompt, courteous, careful and hard working, what more can you ask for? The care and service were excellent and the price was very reasonable. I appreciate the help and the good experience. I will definitely call on Aaron's again and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.The refund can be sent to [redacted] S. Madison hinsdale, Il. 60521.

We were hired by [redacted] to move her belongings from her apartment. She was being evicted due to the building be condemned by the city as we were told. The unit we moved her out of was a hoarder situation. The unit was filled with boxes and furniture beyond a typical living situation. The...

first stage was to load [redacted] pods on site. The second stage was to move her items into our storage facility. Upon releasing her items she signed off on our standard regulated Bill Of Lading that she released her items at $.30 per pound. We did not do any packing for [redacted] and she also declined to have any of her furniture paper-padded for protection due to additional material costs. We are not responsible for ANY boxes that are "Packed By Owner". This is the law based on the mere fact that we can not insure that a customer packed their belongings adequately. Also, it must be noted that none of [redacted] furniture was in good condition. Every piece of furniture showed wear upon pick-up. The final stage of [redacted] move into storage was scheduled on November 13th. Upon numerous cancelations and reschedulings [redacted] called our office and stated that she had to have the remaining items moved out of her unit on November 13th. We only had availability in the afternoon with an estimated arrival time between 1 and 3 pm. [redacted] was disappointed that we could not accommodate her earlier in the day. We explained that we never know how long a move is going to take, and based on the information provided by the client scheduled before her, we estimated that our crew would be to her between 1 and 3. Our crew called her around noon and told her they would arrive closer to 4. [redacted] said she would have "her people" deliver her items to us as she could not wait. Our Director Of Operations waited to receive the items at our dock. [redacted] hired "Emergency Movers" an illegal, unlicensed moving company to deliver her goods to our dock. It was dozens of crushed, damaged old boxes that the driver of Emergency Movers said had been sitting packed in [redacted] apartment for years as they were the ones who moved them for her previously. Our crew then moved the items to [redacted] storage lot. We did not pack anything for [redacted] therefore we cannot be responsible for anything that was packed by her or "her people".  She hired other movers who have no insurance nor license to deliver her goods to us. We then were hired to deliver all of her items to her new location on January 29th. She signed off on her delivery receipt that there was "damage" and "missing items". When our foreman told her she had to specifically identify the damage or broken items, she refused and said she would deal with the office. She emailed that day and said our crew did an amazing job. Four months later she sent an email stating she had to hire yet another moving company to unpack her and that is when she listed her missing, broken and damaged items. Everything we handled was delivered to her in the exact condition we received it. [redacted] is attempting to commit insurance fraud and we will not entertain it nor will our insurance company. A client cannot vaguely say there is damage or missing items upon delivery receipt without disclosing what is missing or damaged. Also, we would like to mention yet again, that [redacted] released her items to us at a liability rate of $.30 per pound, however we did not damage anything and every item in our possession was returned to her on January 29th. As far as we are concerned she should be pursuing the company that packed her along with Emergency Movers who delivered items to us however, they are not licensed nor insured.
