We have a severe diabetic in our house who has medication that needs to be refrigerated, our refrigerator that we had broke three weeks ago. We went to Aarons to lease a new refrigerator from them today. In June 2017 we had a washer and dryer set and a sectional couch that we paid on for six months on before a devastating house fire (total loss). We immediately brought Aarons the fire report, and did everything we were required to do right away. They did not. Now all this time later, we get told we can not get anything and they cant do nothing about it. I do not appreciate how they disrespected us, and how we were treated. We have a family of seven people to feed, and five are diabetics. No refrigerator and spoiled food because Aarons could not do their job. The manager Douglas is the one who has been giving us the problem. Claiming its his boss.
Desired Settlement ID: Other (requires explanation) I want the house fire report (which was not our fault in the first place)to be OFF our record. Its not right that Aaron's is holding us responsible for a fire we had no control over. Again we had no control over the fire. We did our part right away. Aaron's did not, then they held us liable for it after the fact. We will not deal with them again, but we do not want our credit rating affected because of them when we made ALL payments on time.
