Regards,Jimmy,My wife called 6-7-16, the day of install to let you know the unit was not coolingAndrew came out on 6-8-to check the systemYou returned with Andrew 6-9-to correct the same problemThe metering device was switched outWe were told the system was working properlyI do not understand why you would say we did not inform you earlierYou stated in your email 7-21-that the system was working properlyThe issue of a coil leak did not arise until much laterWe were told at the beginning that the coil was fineIf the coil was suspect, why would you install a new condensing unit with a known leaky coil? Unresolved issued:1. Proof of DOE area classification2. Why unit cools at times and not others.3. Bad compressor replaced according to Johnson Control, was it replaced or just a hard start kit installed?

Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2016 6:47 AM Subject: FW: Estimate cost to replace a new evaporator coil   Please use this as my response.   Sent: Monday, August 08, 2016 7:28 AM To: '[redacted] Fisher' Subject: RE: Estimate cost to replace a new evaporator coil   If the coil is under Warranty the price to replace it is, $1,450. The coil that you have now is rated for R410A, It just had a manufactures failure. The problem was not caused by the unit that we installed, the problem was there before that. If you would have called us as soon as you realized that the new system had stopped cooling with the new condensing unit on it, we would have known this coil was bad a long time ago and we could have addressed it. I believe that the coil is what helped on your old unit to go to ground, it lost the refrigerant and the unit ran until it overheated and grounded itself.   From: [redacted] Sent: Friday, August 05, 2016 11:37 AM To: [redacted] Subject: Estimate cost to replace a new evaporator coil   Jimmy   As per Arrings A/C company… “the Evaporating Coil DOES HAVE a leak”.   Please Note… Arrings A/C company stated the following:   [redacted] company tells us that your new condensing unit installed by (Tempco) caused the “existing evaporating coil to fail”. They are saying your new installed condensing unit has pressure problems because it is not rated or specified for this southwest area.   [redacted] will NOT give us a warranty on a new evaporator coil if they install this unit because (they are saying) … YOUR new installed condensing unit will damage (blow) their NEW installed evaporating coil (because of pressure problems).   Please Note: the existing evaporator coil was working just fine before you installed the new condensing unit.   Jimmy… Question: 1.     How much would you charge to replace a new evaporator coil? 2.     Will this evaporator coil be under warranty? How long? 3.     Will the evaporator coil that you (maybe going to) install be compatible with the new existing condensing unit that you have already installed?   Please give us a call concerning the above questions if you are interested in replacing a new evaporator coil at... [redacted]   Signed… [redacted] and [redacted]
