AAU RENOVATIONS was with me from contacting the insurance provider, the inspection, completing the forms and maintaining contact with them. They made it very painless for me. They helped in picking the exact shingle color to match the other half of our twin home. Their work included roof replacement and water damage inside the home. We have been very pleased with the work that was done and haven't found even one nail in the yard after their clean up.
I contacted AAU Renovations to obtain a quote on Gutters and Vinyl Siding for our Church. Kenny was very prompt in his contacts and was a true professional at all times. He worked with us every step of the process. He went out of his way to answer our questions and concerns. His crew were professional and cleaned up everything. I would recommend him to anyone.

I called AAU Renovations because I was looking for a roofing company to repair my roof as there were leaks and water stains in my living room and master bedroom. Ken L. Came out and looked and said he could do it. We agreed on a price and he scheduled his crew (who spoke little English). The inside work was very well done as I could see results. Overall I was pleased with this company. I also asked if they did smaller jobs but Ken said he did not have time for painting and re-screening my porch.

We have used AAU twice, the first time with a full roof and repair on the leak damage on the inside of the house, and the most recent time when a small repair was needed on one of the vents caused by a severe storm. Both times the response was quick and the repair done with professional standards and results. Ken was friendly and reliable, the crew well-mannered, and the clean-up complete.

We were very pleased with AAU renovations. Ken worked with our schedules for the timing of our roof replacement. His crew was very professional and kept up with picking up debris and leaving our home and yard neat every day. Ken went the extra mile and fitted us with gutter guards. Ken was very meticulous about the roof work and we were happy with the results. We will keep AAU on the top of our list for any future renovation needs.

AAU Renovations did an excellent job when I needed work done on the exterior of my fire place. Inspite of the issues caused by the cap fabricator, the owner and staff worked through the issues in a professional manner. AAU was very good to work with. I plan to use them in the future.

I hired AA U Renovations to do a roof for me. It was to be a 3 day job. However it wound up taking almost 6 weeks and there were multiple mishaps. I had missing boards in my attic they had not re affixed my gutter and had bent my gutter guards. They did not do the flashing correctly. They had split aboard and tried to cover it up. They had left nails and trash around my house. They killed my grass on the side. They also failed to do the flashing correctly on the backside of my porch and unbeknawnst to me I was taking on additional water inside for nearly 6 weeks. I would not have found this except my husband went to do some painting and replace a board on the Eve of the back porch and discovered rotted wood and water. I had made multiple calls and requests to Ken Laughlin. He was the one who sold me the contract. He also assured me time and again that he would make sure that things were done right. However he was not on the job and the suppos'd Foreman was not on the job. He made the corrections all except the final 1. He replaced the inside board on my back porch but never completed the exteriour repair. He also ran over the allotted deadline which was an extension many times over. I had to hire a handy man and my husband to complete what he did not. I do not feel obligated to pay him the full $2000 as I had to incur costs for additional repairs and clean up that he did not do. When I try to speak with him he makes excuses and says I did the job. I would like him to accept less than the $2000 because of the additional cost that I had to incur hiring someone to fix the repair that he did not do and also for the time and energy lost.
I was referred to homeowner by a client I did a roof for about 2 years ago. When insurance company agreed to pay for the roof, homeowner,wife began to tell me what her expectations were. We agreed that I would do the roof. When the roof was completed,I went to do a walk around with the homeowner. I was met with very aggressive language, accusations and threats about her not being happy. She showed me the areas of concern, which I agreed to redo and pay for what I was responsible for and areas I was accused of and Not responsible for. Homeowner strongly stated she did not want my crew back on her property to redo anything. I stated that I needed them to do the work but she insisted they are not coming back on her property. She accused me of things I did not do and gave me a do it or don't get paid. I have all texts she sent during this time to back up what I am saying.She would not let my crew on her property and I diligently tried to get outside help but failed to on a few things to be done. Homeowner kept telling if I did not finish by a certain day and time, I would be responsible for doing additional work. I have done more than enough to pay for the things I have been accused of and threatened with. there were as many things I was not responsible for as the ones I was. They are done. I understand her being upset but blow it up as she has is not fair. It is not about the money, it is about how she has accused and threatened me throughout this whole process, making racial remarks about my Hispanic crew. I text her and told her to keep the money and she still filed a claim with Revdex.com. I do not understand, unless her intention is defame my company and or my name. If she would listen, I would talk to her. Some statements made in her complaint are not true, I have proof. I do not want any money, I do not want false accusations against me or my company, Tell the whole story.
I am rejecting this response because:
I do not accept Ken's response because is not truthful. I did not allow his crew back on my property because the fact that they had defamed my property and multiple ways and left me a palatial mass. They also tried to get out before the job was completed because they were doing another job which I was told they would stick with mine until done. I have too much to attach to this particular file but I to have proof I have the contract I have a time line I have the handy man that I spoke with I also have pictures on my ring camera that prove when the guys war and were not there I also have as a matter of fact pictures on my phone that show the canson perpetual damages that I found and he kept making excuses for. No I do not accept his response because it is bogus.
Bottom line is he promised me professional job I certified roofers said it would take 3 days and it was more than 6 weeks I have the proof of my husband I have the handy man I also have others that saw what was done to my house.
I contracted this company, AAU Renovations, to replace two skylights for me.On Nov. 21st after inspecting the job they had done on one skylight and the guarantee of how I would be covered if the workmanship failed I decided to terminate the company.
I text messaged the owner, Ken ***, and told him I would finish the job.He said okay.My wife and I went on vacation the next day, Nov. 22nd. That morning I got a call that there were people in my home working. Ken said he didn't know nothing about them being there when I called him.
When we got home the room was covered in water because of the way they installed the skylights.
Now I've got damage, flashing with nails, screws,staples and a leaking roof.. Also some of it is bent that can't be straightened from their poor work. I put an order in with *** Skylights for replacement parts that have not arrived yet, because they are not items that are normally stocked.
On top of all that they trespassed, broke and entered.They used a ladder to access my roof and removed the skylight after they were terminated. I've got pictures and video from my security cameras of them trespassing and breaking and entering.
Now, if this the kind of people you want working on your home go ahead and hire them.
