traded into us and customer did in fact bring the title to us, but per the previous owner, they lost the title here at the dealershipThe customer has applied for an out-of-state (Pennsylvania) lost and should be able to provide it to us within the next 7-days

To whom it may concern,
sans-serif;">I have attached a copy of the mailer clearly outlining our disclaimers and odds of winningWe use numbers instead of symbols, and unfortunately, either way, we have someone that feels they were"the big winner" because they failed to fully read the disclaimersWe always go one step further than required on our campaigns and add the disclaimer near or under the prize section rather than just small print at the bottom back of the mail pieceAll of our campaigns are insured as required by law and all the winning numbers have been randomly selected by the insurer and are ALL ALWAYS MAILED
We apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding this may have causedOf course, the goal when one advertises is to drive traffic to their businessThank you for your review of our rebuttal!

Re: complaint 1D# ***, I am enclosing paperwork showing where Mr *** signed on separate forms showing that the warranty cost was $We are unable to cancel and credit back the cost of the
warranty because *** warranty company, to prevent warranty misuse, does not allow for cancellationsAlso, I have reviewed the sale worksheet and I can see where Mr *** was given a $discount off the sale priceLastly, according to the "we owe" (a form we use to list anything that was promised to the customer), the only item promised was a windshield that was already repairedWe would however be happy to provide Mr *** with a 2"d key and a lug wrench

It is nice of Rankl & ries to offer a 2nd key and lug wrench The correct one I hope Which should have been done months ago But now I want to go back to the warranty that I was never told of the cost It was sign this and sign that and I was never told of the cost Also I want the advertised discount for used car purchases on the week of purchase which was $ Again to get back to the warranty I want it canceled as of the end of December When I tried to cancel it I called the warranty company , went to the bank and went to the dealer I was given the run around by all three Also the paperwork sent to the Revdex.com has been changed to suit the dealer For one on the super sale sheet, cash voucher was added I am tired of getting the run around for the dealer who is now changing the paperwork Thank you *** ***

I did however know it was sold as is, but not telling the buy that the fuel gage was way off is a very big issue. The day after I got it I ran out of fuel in it. Unaware that the fuel gage was off luckily I was not on a main road or on the high way, I could have gotten into a very big car accent. I have learned my lesson and will never buy a vehicle again from this business and will tell everyone else not to as well!

Enclosed please find copy of check in amount of $800.00, sent to [redacted] on
font-family: Arial, sans-serif; letter-spacing: -0.3pt;">August 2, 2016. This is the full amount for cancellation of Gap Insurance, purchased by [redacted]. We have not received the refund from [redacted], that provided the insurance coverage, but we do want [redacted] complaint handled as of today.

Re: ID [redacted], regarding complaint filed by [redacted]. In April of 2015, we sold [redacted] a 2002 Saturn for $4000. Unfortunately, this is a 12 yr. old vehicle that has been driven in Ohio (also known as the rust...

belt) all of its life. Rust and corrosion are on many older vehicles and we have no way of preventing that. In the case of this Saturn, the front cradle has rust through. As a goodwill gesture, we offered to only charge [redacted] $400 of a $957 repair-she chose to remove her car and write you a letter.  Our offer still stands of $400 for the repair.  However, we do not guarantee rust through on any vehicle we sell.

[redacted] has been in several times to have some concerns addressed. While it is unfortunate, everything has been covered under warranty. Our service manager has reached out to Mr Hart since last repair and all concerns have been resolved.

The sales rep. came in on his day off the first of the year to provide us with service. He set up a really nice newer car for us. He took his time and gave us a proper test drive. Very freindly and willing to go out of his way for us. Service department manager was the best in taking his time to answer questions about the vechical that we did not understand even after reading the manual even without an appointment. They made sure we understud what we were buy and the financals that we were signing. They made sure we got the best loan for our financancial situation. The main key was missing any they did a speedy and timley replace on a $150 key.

It amazes me how much a person in a business can get away with lying and stealing from a person and it is legal. Rankl & Ries sold me a car that they had to have known smelled like cat urine and rode really rough for an ** year old woman.
He had never ask me if I wanted the warranty but put it in on my loan and did tell me that he got me a better interest rate because of it.  He then told me if I cancelled that it would not make any difference on my loan.  I knew it would not change my payments so I called the bank and found out that it would be put on the principal.  It would not change the interest rate at all.
I did not have several issues with the car.  I did think something was wrong with the transmission & a door lock needed fixed & her told me if I cancelled the warranty I would have to pay two to three thousand to get it fixed.  This is within a month after buying the car.
I did ask him within the month if he would help me with another car because I am under doctors care for a serious back problem.  He ask me if I wanted to pay more for a car and I said I am on a fixed income and needed to stay at the $170 payment I already have.  He never told me that I neeollars cash an they gave me $500 towards my old car.
He at that time looked me in the eye and shook my hand and said he would help me.  Now he is saying how he cannot find a car in that price range.  They have had two big sales going on at the business since I got my car, but they can't find one at the price I paid which was almost ten thousand for a 2011 Kia [redacted] with 75 thousand miles on it.
They don't want to help because they know they will never get it sold smelling of cat urine.  They were so nice to have the windows down for me on the day I bought it and told me to turn on a newly paved road on my test drive.  They knew what they were doing.  Taken by Rankl & Ries.

To whom it may concern: Re: [redacted]
Yes it will be the correct lug wrench
It couldn't have been done months ago, as Mr [redacted] never asked us for it until he filed this complaint
As already shown, Mr [redacted] received more than the $1700 discount
As stated previously, warranties are not cancellable. Mr [redacted] was not given the run around-he simply doesn't agree with the fact that he cannot cancel his warranty
The paperwork wasn't changed
Even though Rankl & Ries promised nothing further when mr [redacted] purchased the vehicle, we agreed to, after the fact, provide the extra key and the lug wrench. After that we consider this matter closed.

The customer now has his title.

Ms [redacted] did stop in after taking delivery and said she wished to cancel her warranty as she did not understand that there would be a charge for it.  At that time, she also had several service issues she...

was concerned with.  I advised her against cancelling her warranty and  if she was to cancel it, it would only affect her principal balance and not her payment (not that it would affect her interest rate).
As far as putting her into another car, we would have to have some money down to cover any negative equity and it would be difficult to find a car for $170 or less a month.  She implied to me that she wouldn't have money down or be able to afford more than her payment.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. We feel our complaint and request is not unreasonable. We purchased what we thought was a good reliable vehicle, within the first 16 weeks of owning the truck we had to return to the dealership at least 9 times due to the same problem, ABS and BRAKE lights coming on and dinging, each time the dealership would give us a loaner "car" which does not work for our family for many reasons, we dont like cars, we have a large family, we live out in the country, and we have a small farm, hauling feed, hay and manure is not something you can do in a car, each time we asked for a truck and we were told that we were getting the best of there loaners, which was pretty sad considering they had check engine lights, low tire lights, hard to start, smelled like smoke (we have two kids with asthma) Within the first 4 months of us owning the truck we made our payments in full and on time even though we did not have the vehicle in our possession at time of payments. We requested many times if we could exchange the truck, rewrite the loan for another truck that was in working condition, we were told that we hadnt paid enough on ours to do that. When we picked the truck up for the last time from the dealership we were told "We got it this time we think" within a week the transmission went out. When we called we were told that our warranty had ran out, which we knew it had a limited warranty but we never had the vehicle in our possession for the length of the so called warranty. We were told that if we brought the truck back up they would see what kind of a deal they could work out for us, which we felt was unjust. We took the truck to another garage and had the transmission replaced for a cost of $2500.00 The following week the ABS and BRAKE lights came on again and the 4x4 went out, we returned to the second garage for him to repair, he replaced the 4x4 encoder motor and the power wire to the encoder motor, at a cost of $198.41. We feel that due to the conditions of the vehicle that we were sold, it is not unreasonable to ask that we be refunded our $3000.00 deposit, $2500.00 transmission repair and $198.41 for a total of $5698.41. We would never have paid that amount of money for a vehicle that we can not say is safe, and had that many problems.   [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]
