I am rejecting this response because: I spoke to Brad previous to me filing this complaint to see if we could come to an agreementI had already explained to him that the clutch was not what I needed to get the car runningI have attached pictures but there are more I could not attach due to space provided in this formI can settle for $on the transmissionI don't have problems investing in the fender because that is minor compared to what is going on with the transmissionHis input on the value of the vehicle is a bit far fetchedThis vehicle with the issues sold is Kelly Blue Book Valued at $8,to $10,
First I would like to inform the Revdex.com about the car in questionIt's a Mitsubishi EVO MR edition, a very high powered turbo charged street legal race carThe 19yr old kid that bought the car had a friend and his father with him upon purchaseThe father drove the car very roughly during the
test drive, which was ok I suppose because it held up just fine as it shouldThe car gave no issues to be alarmed about I also have proof that I stated the rear brake rotors were in fact warped, and needed replacingKeep in mind this car holds a value of $22,000-$28,in today's marketsThe car was purchased "as is" and all of the proper documents were signed So what happened between here and there is a question we could all ask They test drove the car, liked the car, and purchased the carIt's not a car I recommended to be driven daily due to the sheer power the car has The fenders were rolled improperly (by the previous owner) which was visually and verbally warned about which may or may not have made the tire blow out also due to lowered suspension and extra passengersI did feel bad about the whole situation so I personally paid the $for the tags and taxes to help ease the pain of having to buy a new transmission which sells for $1,and less It's a $25,car that needed $1,000-2,worth of body work and paint and now needs a $(value due to payment for tags) transmission Although I'm terribly sorry this has happened, it did happen and I've helped all I could to make it right and by law I didn't have to do that I've since told the young man that bought the car I could swap out the brand new $clutch if he needed me to, which even after this I'd be willing to doAll in all, a $11,car that needs $invested into a new transmission, and about $1,worth of body work and paint, there's still great equity in the carThe buyer needs to understand these high powered "toys" break and that's lifeThe bottom line is the "as-is" paperwork was signed, they didn't opt to have the car checked out at a mechanic shop because of the unbelievably low price, previous repairs were made by outside sourcing a mechanic that didn't report anything back to meI drove the car personally for weeks prior to the saleSorry it happened but things do happen
