On August 14, 2016, AB Cement LLC out of Atlanta Ga (he now resides in Atlanta) was hired via Thumbtack.com to add an addition to my patioHe was very responsive and stated he had an opening on the following day to come out and do my addition to my patioInstead of him coming, he sent a very elderly man who he stated was his dad and a young man who he stated was his sonThey arrived around 1:30pmThey took measurements, went to the store, and started to workThe owner of the company, Tony, never showed onsite to help with the job as he stated on the phoneThe two men worked effortless until 10pm that nightWhen the job was done, I only noticed that it "appeared" to look fineI spoke with the owner the next day asking him if the surface would dry lighter as it was really dark at the timeHe stated yesSo I allowed the concrete to dry for one week and three daysAfter allowing the surface to completely dry, I noticed the texture on the concrete was really ROUGH and hurt your feet to even touch or stand bare foot on itI contacted the owner again via text and basically he told me it was a broom finish and that in time it would smooth outI then told him my current patio installed by the builder was a broom finish and did not hurt my feet like the addition he installedHe did not offer to come and correct the problemI see he has done business in the past in Austin, TX and now has brought his business here to Atlanta, GA using *** *** as the business line hereI am unhappy with the final product and I'm requesting a refund of $which I paid him for a small area in my backyardHe stated in the beginning if I was not pleased I did not have to payI thought I was pleased before the concrete had actually dried, but after seeing the finished product dried and completed it looks horribleI am requesting a refund from the company
