AB Collier Wrecker Service, LLC

I don't usually write reviews, but I had a nightmare experience that most definitely requires a review
Ab Collier is involved in price scalping and has very poor customer service; you can expect to be yelled at
I had my car towed from a spot that was not marked as a tow zone
I spoke with Metro PD over the phone and they said that I would be charged $(unusually high for a mile tow in the daytime, nearly twice what it should have been.) Since I picked it up in the space of three hours, one would think that there would be no 'storage fee.'
After I arrived in the rain after paying taxi fare, the receptionist told me that there would be a $dollar fee for 'storage'I informed her that this was beyond the scope of their contract with Metro and was not part of the quote that I receivedWhen I asked to speak with a manager, she screamed at me, " I AM THE MANAGER!! YOU SHOULDN'T GET MAD AT ME FOR YOUR STUPID MISTAKE!!" (FYI- I did not speak unkindly to her, in a soft and firm voice, nor was I angry with her for my mistake; I was trying to receive fair serviceShe responded with hatred and vitriol.)
When I returned from inspecting my car, I asked to speak to the manager again(as the receptionist is clearly not the manager.) I asked him to clarify with metro their pricing and was again yelled atI paid my balance and left
In addition, Metro gave me a $ticketIt was raining quite hard and the company did not have the common sense to take the ticket into the officeThe ticket is barely legible at this point
The only thing that was good was that my car was towed according to industry standards for the make and model of the carThe man who towed the car was quite nice and professional, but their office staff are rude and uncouth
You can expect that AB Collier will squeeze you for every single dollar and take advantage of your situation; and that you will be treated unkindly by their office staff
I always recommend *** *** if you are in need of a tow- they are reasonably priced and will not yell at youThey understand that if you are in need of a tow, that you are also in need of kindness and good service615-***-***

My truck was involved in a collision and the officer on scene called Collier to tow it awayI've never dealt with a wrecker service beforeHe gave me a business card and towed it away After a day of dealing with insurance I called Collier and asked their opinion on salvageThey recommended one, but when I called to get an estimate I was offered a very low price so I went with a different salvage companyThe third day after the wreck, I went to Collier's lot to sell my truck to a salvage yard and was told that there was a daily storage fee since I didn't use the salvage yard they useThis is the first anyone mentioned a storage feeSo if I use their favorite salvage yard I get a lowball offer on my truckIf I use my choice of salvage company I get slapped with a storage feeThis sounds fishy

This company charged me $50 for an "hour of labor" that took 20 minutes.
