brooch, from Mrand *** *** for appraisal in September The issue at that time was die deeply set Diamond in the large broochThe position of the Diamond in the moundng interfered with measuring the stone cxacdy; some of the measurements had to be estimated according to GIA GuidelinesThe *** felt it weighed more dian could be justified with die available measurementsABGLI recommended having the Diamond removed to verify the weightThe decision to remove the Diamond was left with the *** with the understanding diat they would call to let ABGLI know how they wanted to proceed.Nine months passed before *** contacted ABGLI widi instructions to proceed with die appraisal leaving the Diamond in the mountingAt diis time, the appraisal files were in die process of relocation to off-site storage and not immediately available so more photos were takenSince that time, die *** file was returned to our offices, containing all the records and photos taken of die broochThey were notified when the updated appraisal was completed and available for pickup.ABGLI conducted extensive research on and took numerous additional photos of the Hallmarks (customer referred to these as initials) stamped into the back of the broochThe effort to identify diem was complicated as die hallmarks were difficult, unclear stamping and hard to see all parts of the charactersThey were not charged for die additional time or photosAdditionally, as Nine mondis had passed since the appraisal was first performed some values had changed so the appraisal was updated (normally there is a Sfee) we did this as a courtesy.The *** were always respectfully and professionally treated and die services provided were of the highest qualityAs I identified above, die *** received numerous additional services for which they were not charged; diey were definitely not ripped offABGLI has additional photos of die Hallmarks in our records, if the *** decide to keep the appraisal documents, at their request, an additional photo will be sent to them at no charge while any additional photos, beyond diat will be provided at Seach.Finally, die *** have received die evaluation of their brooch and tliis intellectual property can never be retrieved by ABGLIHowever, if tiiey would like a refund for die sendees performed by ABGLI, then it is necessary for them to return all copies of the appraisal documents provided by ABGLI as well as any additional copies they may have takenUpon receipt of all of these documents, ABGLI will issue a refund for the appraisal fee they paid.For over years ABGLI has provided the highest, most reliable information and assessments doing so in a professional manner dedicated to our principles of integrity, honesty and excellenceAs you know, a small business, has no hope of success or longevity if diey don't treat the customer widi respect, gratitude and reliabilityIf ABGLI can provide the Revdex.com with additional information please do not hesitate to contact us.Thank you, Addie B*** GG GIA Graduate Gemologist
