Review: Upstairs bathroom was completely renovated, a&b glass was contracted to provide glass frameless shower unit in new bathroom. Measurements were done and glass installed. Almost immediately after installation, leaking from corner of shower door was noticed and [redacted] was advised. Water was leaking to floor and there was concern that water might travel down to lower floor of house. [redacted] had to be called numerous times; would say he was coming and not show up and not call. When [redacted] did arrive, problem was not fully addressed (new strips installed that did nit work). leaking continued and now water has leaked into the ceiling in the kitchen. The kitchen had been completely renovated before the bathroom; and is now ruined. Again, numerous requests made to owner, with same results - says he will come, does not show up and does not call. At this time, we need to find another installer to come and advise how to fix the shower problem. Additionally, the kitchen will need to be repaired, section removed, check for water damage in the beams and lighting - and new ceiling installed. All this damage is result of faulty installation by a&b glass and failure to respond to requests to fix. The contractor for the renovation of the bathroom and kitchen recommended a&b glass; and has attempted to have the [redacted] come and fix the problem, without success.Desired Settlement: Since we will need to find another subcontractor to fix the shower unit, and will require extensive renovation in the kitchen ceiling as a result of faulty installation and failure to respond to numerous requests, I believe a refund of what was paid to a&b glass is in order. It will cost us more to have the shower unit fixed and the kitchen ceiling fixed.
