Review: I purchased two laser cartridges from this company; directly from the owner, [redacted]. Before I purchased them, I spoke directly with her to clarify that these were original manufacturer laser toner cartridges and not "compatible" cartridges. I told her I had had an issue with my printer and "compatible" cartridges in the past, even purchased a new printer, only to find that the issue was with the "compatible" cartridge and when I obtained a manufacturer's "original" cartridge, the issue went away. She was very clear that the cartridges she had were original; the invoice even says "Brother TN 350". When the cartridges arrived, they were "compatible" cartridges; NOT the Brother TN 350 originals. I called her right away and she said try them; they will work. I told her I didn't want to open them because then there might be an issue about returning them. She assured me if they didn't work, I could still return them. They didn't work; lines down the paper; same as had previously been the case as I told her when we first talked. She said she had to see so I faxed pages to her, clearly showing the line down the page. Then she had to have me mail those pages to her; which I did. Then she said she needed me to mail the cartridges back to her so she could have the company she got them from look at them. I did that. Then she kept saying she hadn't heard back from the that company yet. After a month of this, I finally said look, my business was with you; not with some other company. You promised me they would work; they clearly don't in my printer. I did everything you asked; I need a refund and I am pretty frustrated waiting. No response. Then I left another message saying I was going to initiate dispute with the credit card company. The very next day she left me a message saying she would send a check for the $100 but it would take a week or two as someone else wrote the checks for her. Never heard from her again. Left a message a month later; no response. That was over 3 months ago. Please help.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $100 purchase price. The cartridges were mailed back to her; I have nothing and she has $100 of my money (plus postage from shipping the cartridges back to her of about $10). I have been more the cooperative and patient and did everything she asked, based on what I was asked to do and all she said. There is no contest here; the refund is more than due. The next page asks for complaint dates; those I put in are 3 of very many interactions spanning from 7/13-1/14.
