I am responding to the Complaint that was filed against my business on April 16, *** *** requested my repair shop to install a used motor in his *** *** ***I managed to locate a used motor from a reputable vendorWe cleaned, painted and switched
all the accessories from his truck to the used motor that do not come with a replacement motor.The burning smell he experienced could have easily been from the fresh paint and the degreaser we used to clean his engine compartment and transmissionThe exhaust was installed properly and there were no leaks from the flange that connects the motorWe charged the a/c upon completing the motor replacement, but on a *** *** ***, this type of leak does not come with any parts we replacedIf there is a leak, it could have existed for yearsReferring to us as performing "stupid worksmanship" and attributing the possibility of an accident claim of an a/c line leak and exhaust problem shows the state of mind of the customerThe truck was test driven and it ran for hours and functioned properly before the customer picked it upI would also like to state that the reference to my shop being "rude" was a dishonest statement, since we are always courteous to our customers and *** *** seemed very pleased when he left my establishmentSincerely,
