On 29 June 2018, I left a *** Women's Polo Shirt with ABA Cleaners on 237 Belmont Street in Belmont, MA 02478. The shirt was all white. When I returned to the store to pick it up, a faint brown color overtook the original look and color of the shirt. The owner refused to issue a refund for the cost of the damaged shirt. The dry cleaner failed to follow care instructions, attached to the article, and did not exercise reasonable care. I did not pay the amount due for the cleaning; it remains at the dry cleaner. I purchased the shirt last year.

The claimant demanded that the cost of the garment be issued to her and refused to pay the cost of the dry cleaning services. The owner offered to waive the cost of the dry cleaning services as the claimant was not satisfied with the services. The owner offered to issue the cost of the garment and asked that the claimant provide additional details regarding the garment, such as a receipt or reference to validate the cost of the garment. Additionally, the owner asked the claimant if there was a photo of the garment in its original condition to validate the claimed damage. The claimant did not wish to provide any of the above details. The owner has reached out the claimant via phone without response. The owner would like to provide resolution to the claimant, but will need the cooperation of the claimant. ***, owner of ABA Cleaners--
