The company was incredibly difficult to deal with The tow was scheduled for am on 6/28/from my house to a dealership in downtown I was called a little after am by the Tim at the company who said they were about minutes out No one showed up and no one called
At 9:45, I received a call from the company and was told he was minutes away I told the driver I would meet him at the dealership and he said no, he was on the way to my house to pick up the car His explanation for being an hour late was traffic
When I called the office, the person said he wasn't able to reach the driver When I mentioned I had his number, the person said, "You don't think I have the phone number to one of my drivers?" Very customer friendly
I told him that I wouldn't be able to meet the driver at the dealership because I had a meeting at (I had to meet the driver to pay for the part of the tow not covered by insurance) Since I wouldn't be able to meet him, I called the tow company office and was able to give my credit card info
My mom agreed to go to the house and meet the tow truck When I called and talked to her to see if the truck arrived, she said, "It's a good thing I was here because I had to pay the driver $cash." I told her I called the office and paid the $ The driver called the office and said they took my credit card, but didn't run it I had to pay $in cash
Luckily, I had my insurance company on another phone and the agent said she heard everything She created an incident number for me and told me to call if I saw a charge on my credit card
Bottom line - a very rude and underhanded company Stay away
