I requested wireless Internet service on 11/03/from ABBA CommunicationsMy credit card was charged for the amount of $After several weeks I still had not received ANY service from Abbacomm even after many phone calls and texts trying to get him to come out so that we could do the installFinally after several more weeks and inappropriate comments from him I returned the dish that was given to me (without a radio so it was completely useless) to his personal residence and asked for a full refund since I had still not received any internet serviceI have sent several notifications to give me a refund and have not heard anything back

I have used Abba Communications as my ISP for many years, up until this year it has been a satisfactory relationshipOn Jan 21, Robert arrived at my home and asked if he could collect a check for the coming year service fee; I thought this strange, because we had san autopay scheme via credit card last yearRobert stated that the autopay scheme had not worked well and that since he was in the local area it would be more convenient for him to revert to payment by checkHe then announced that there was a need to update my DSL gateway device since it was no longer secure and that better security was available by installing a new DSL gatewaySince I am very security conscious with respect to my internet transactions I agreedRobert stated that he would return to my house on the following Monday with the new 'gateway' and that he would install itI wrote a check for $155.13, the total for DSL internet service, new Motorola 'gateway', installation and taxes, Robert requested that the check be made payable to him personally, rather than to Abba Communications; I thought that to be rather strange, but, we have done business together for a very long time, so I curbed my unease and wrote the check as asked for
There has been no follow up on the proposed hardware upgradeNo new 'gateway' no service call to install a new 'gateway'No communication of any sort, despite multiple attempts to communicate via telephone, ( No response except an answering machine, which informed me that the client's mailbox was full and could not accept any new callsThis has been the status of the mailbox for several months.)

I have had an even worse experience with him> Up until this last year everything was goodBut like the previous review around christmas of last year my internet goes outAfter hounding him for along time he finally showed up around at night during a snow storm saying how he lost his wallet and needed me to pay him cashI said I dont have that much cash on me but since I have done business with him for a long time I took pitty and offered to drive in the middle of the night in a snow storm to my ATM and get him bucks cashI ended up driving into the bank during that storm, with my side arm no less and got him some cash Then I didnt hear back from him to get my internet fixed for like a month I finally got him back out and he said it was my ethernet cord to the roof I said ok lets get it fixedwell it took me about a month to finally get him out and then I had to do the work myself He charged me a like another bucks for the ethernet cord that I had to install Turns out that wasnt the problem at allA few days later he shows up with a different radio which WAS the problem to begin with Internet worked ok for a few more months Now come august it has stopped working again and from talking with him I think his company is in jepordy Hes trying to get more moneyHes a scammer of some sort
