uncommon for our customers to experience.When we sell material from a sample, it is then classified as special order, we are then at the mercy of the mills and distributors to get the product shipped locally or directly to our warehouseAccording to your statement, you received a bid, on July 16th but did not give us a deposit until July 24th, the marmoleum was ordered on 07/24, the same day as we received the deposit to move forward on special order materialWe require a 75% deposit on all special order, orders.After recieving the letter from Revdex.com dated 10/01/I talk to the sales person and the operations manager.My conclusion is expectations of a July 25th installation for an order that was placed on July 24th those expectation were unreasonable, when the material had to be special orderedMy operations manager said the material was received, in our warehouse on 08/He waited to here from *** about what dates would work for themAnd checked back in with her occasionally.I apologize to the *** family if my salesperson over promised and under deliveredMost of all scheduling happens at the operations level and not at the sales.My operations manager tells me all job were being scheduled, were scheduled out at least weeks, but Marmoleum is a special talent, and we have very few good craftsman that have mastered this tradeWe try to use certified installers whenever possibleOur subcontractor had a full schedule and yes indeed changed the install date because of an unrealistic expectation they could keep the restroom in use while we were working on it, and also to avoid an air quality issue with the client on the original day of install, so it got moved from Tuesday 8/to Friday 8/28.Since, I haven't heard anything about the quality of the work I will assume that once we were able to complete the job, the certified installer did a beautiful job, the only issue was the timing of it.I feel we followed protocol on this, just like we do on every customer's needs wants and expectationsAgain I am sorry if your expectations were not met, but we tried and did the best we could!SincerelyBlake * W***PresidentAbbey Capitol Floors
