Abbey Road Limousine Service

Review: I hired Abbey Road for a limousine transportation for my wedding. We had a signed service contract for an 8 passenger limo. The morning of my wedding, the limo never showed up at the contracted time! I also never received a call from the company telling me that the limo is not coming! When I called the company to inquire, I was first put on hold and hung up on! Then I called right back and talked to the same lady again. She then put me on hold again and came back on the phone to tell me "I have no idea where the driver is. He never showed up and I can't get ahold of him!" I asked to speak to the manager or owner right away and she said "he wasn't here today!" My bridal party and I had no transportation to my ceremony and had to call and wait for a family member to come pick us up! We missed an hour of picture time with my photographer and were late to my wedding ceremony because the limo from Abbey NEVER showed up!!! They ruined a big part of the happiest day if my life!Desired Settlement: We will be taking the company to small claims court for missed services!

On Sept. 28th @ app. 9:40 we received a call from Ms. [redacted],Fiance, looking for the Limo. He was put on hold, any disconnect was due to cell phone connection and not by any rudeness from our office. Due to the early dispatch and a morning that had just started we very quickly tried to figure out what was wrong, only to find out that the driver had a personal family problem and got so involved with his crisis that he forgot about his commitment and came in over an hour later which was to late. The wedding was taking place about 1 hour away making it impossible to be of any help at all. [redacted] and [redacted] were in the office at the time and were very apologetic, I was on my cell when the conversation was taking place and heard the conversation, no one was rude just very upset that this was happening. We at Abbey Road take this very seriously and are aware of the consequences, the driver was reprimanded and a check was immediately sent out for a refund. Our intent was to try and soothe this over by doing something to make up for the mishap until we saw that almost immediately a family member of the bridal party took it upon themselves to slam us on social media calling us sm and slandering us before we could even make a goodwill gesture. The new husband then called us about a week or so later, after discussing the event and my apologies once again and the reason why, it was still not enough that we sent full refund and had no control over the situation. They have every right to be upset, I was not very pleased about the situation and regret that it happened. The child like attitude of one person "CYBER BULLY" makes it very hard to defend. When an individual takes to the internet instead of trying to come to an understanding which we would have done[with open arms], the outcome is never good regardless of what our good intentions were. Again, we at Abbey Road apologize for this mishap and will thrive even harder to make sure it never happens again.
