Mr*** came to the center on 5/09/Documented on our paperwork are his initial concerns with the vehicle He stated that the vehicle would not take off in drive and that it had manual low onlyHe also warned us that the front brakes were bad. When the tech performed the inspection
on the vehicle it was determined the vehicle was not drivable The vehicle barely moved into our building for the checkout on the lift As documented on our paperwork the fluid was full, the transmission quit pulling, had noises coming from the engine, and had brake issues The transmission had experienced an internal failure and needed rebuilding work All of these results were explained to Mr*** He declined repair options.I can appreciate the hardship a disabled vehicle presents, however we are not the cause of this failure The vehicle came to us exhibiting clear symptoms of an internal failure Having only manual low with this transmission is a serious condition and symptom that internal repairs are needed I can not change the recommended repair but would be happy to try to assist the customer with options to fix the vehicle.Sincerely,*** ** ***Owner
