***, Thank you for your feedbackTo elaborate in response to your concerns, the apartment that you were scheduled to move into at Abbie Lakes was severely damaged due to a major water leakWe contacted you to inform you that the leak had caused extensive damage, which in turn caused a delay in
getting the apartment ready for move inUnfortunately, due to contractor delays and additional necessary repairs that were beyond our control, we were not able to have the apartment ready by your required move in dateWe explored different options and made attempts to place you in another home at Abbie Lakes; however, there was not another bedroom, bath home available and future transfer options were not idealWe wanted for you and your family to make your home at Abbie Lakes. We pride ourselves in taking care of our residentsGiven Abbie Lakes did not have a bedroom, bath home available, we were reached out to our sister community, Reserve at Abbie Lakes, to find you a similar home After learning of the situation you encountered at Abbie Lakes, The Reserve at Abbie Lakes manager, Rebecca B***, received corporate approval to honor your rental rate quoted at Abbie Lakes, resulting in an $monthly rent savingsAfter receiving pricing approval, Rebecca returned your call and advised that she would be in contact in the morning to finalize the details of your move. The following day, Rebecca and the service team at The Reserve at Abbie Lakes focused on completing the apartment make ready to ensure the transition as easy as possible for you and your family. After viewing the apartment, you did request some form of compensation for the inconvenience. While we were running a special of $off move in costs at that time for bedroom 1/bath apartment, due to only having one bedroom, bath home available, we were not running any specials for that floor plan. Given your inconvenience, it was approved to offer you an additional $off your move in costs as a customer service gesture This was in addition to lowering the rent price to match the quote you had received at Abbie LakesMoving can be stressful, and we are very sympathetic to you having to change your address on such short noticeWe are truly sorry for your experience, given it did not go quite as smoothly as you expectedAfter being notified of the situation, we took immediate action so you could move in a soon as possible and offered an additional $off of your move in expenses as a customer service gesture for your inconvenience.
