Review: I have requested a refund almost a month ago for a cancellation due to my health for Dec 31-Jan 2. I continue to contact (Weekly) [redacted] as to the 255.00 dollar refund, and she only gives excuses as to why she has not sent my refund. I am terribly disappointed in this business practice, as we had planned to go visit sometime next year. I have NEVER heard of accommodation cancellation refunds taking a MONTH to return.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded immediately! I am NOT going to continue to accept excuses as to who or why it is taking so long. It's now becoming a principle issue, rather than just monetary.

Vendor Response: We were contacted mid summer regarding a small wedding for the second week in Sept. 2013. Later we were contacted again by the customer that they had health issues and that they needed to re book in December. At this time I did not run the deposit as our rates change for the winter months. Again, I was contacted by the couple saying health issues continued and they could not book with us. Subsequently they contacted us asking for a return on the deposit. I dd not recall submitting the deposit and had our accountant go through our records to make sure. We could find no entries regarding the booking or a deposit. I then emailed the customer and asked them to send us a copy of their Master Card transaction or transaction # so we could double check. They responded that they had lost the bank records. We will gladly refund any deposit of legitimate concern that we have records of, but having no record of a transaction and the lack of customer proof, we cannot make a refund at this time. We continue to await verification. Card companies keep records of their transactions and willingly copy this information to their card customers if requested.
