Robert, technician with Carolina Ductmasters, Incis superb We knew from the moment we met him that he would be good! He is respectful of persons, property, and in our case-numerous dogs Robert, of quiet manner, has a wonderful work ethic He knows what he is doing! He is thorough and efficient He was careful always to have booties on when inside the houseHe was very careful with any dust All the hoses he used looked like brand new He cleaned our many vents, our dryer venting, our intakes, and the furnace, and then safely sanitized allFew workers we have experienced in our years of marriage rank with himVery well-spent money I chose this company because of its Revdex.com A+ rating Yes, it is A+

Unprofessional service
The worker and his assistant showed up hours lateThey told me that I gave the wrong addressThey had typed in "Holler" instead of "Hollow" into their gpsThey were not dressed in uniform, but instead wore dirty street clothesMy husband let them in because they had accurate information about the appointment and they drove a company vanI would not have let them inThey also insisted on coming into my room while I was still in bed to find the vents which we already told them where they were, as well as told them I was in bed with a migraineIt was drizzling outside and they did not wear boot covers to prevent bringing in mud, so everywhere they went, mud and leaves followed
The worst part is that every vent hole was messed up which I did not check before they leftThe two screws that already had holes in the trim where the vent went into, now had hand-driven crooked screw holes which in turn, screwed partly sideways which made the original screw holes uneven causing the vents to hang crooked on the wall
The most obvious terrible work was the bathroom ventThe drywall had a seal that covered the inside opening of the ventIt was torn off and thrown into the trashcanThere was a mess of it under the vent on the floor as wellI should have called the men to come back and fix all of it, but frankly I was not comfortable with them in my house and I did not want to anger or embarrass them by telling them that they tore up my wallSo instead, I went to lowes and bought what I needed to fix itThe following business day, I called the manager to ask for a discount, just enough to cover the materials I had to buy to fix itThe manager was angry with me because I did not immediately call the workers back to fix it, that I waited from Friday to Monday to call him, that I would ask for a discount of services to cover the patching and the new vent (which did not include the other trim around all of the other vents), and that I would complain about the mud and leaves tracked through the house because it was a petty complaintHis excuse was that because his workers were late, they forgot to use booties, that the assistant couldn't replace the screws for all of the vents back into the original holesHe also stated that the workers that came to our home already had two strikes against their jobs, so if I were to officially file a complaint then the workers would lose their jobsI told him I didn't want to be the reason that someone would lose their job, but that the service was not professional in the least and it needed to be taken care of asapHe said he would take $out of their pay that week in order to cover my work to fix the vent and would send the check by the end of the weekWhile I felt bad about it, I thought maybe it would encourage the workers to do a better job in the futureIt's been months now, no check in the mail and no apology from the managementI have never written a review for a company before, so this is my firstSorry it's not positivePlease don't work with this company

When appointment was booked manager, Marshal, stated for $the fireplace would be fixed and workingThey cameNot workingStill charged $
The last week of November we called Carolina Ductmasters to come help us with a problem with the fireplaceWhen we had built a fire the week before only about a third of the smoke was pulling up the chimney and the rest was coming into the houseWe had just bought the house in September of On July the previous owner had had the fireplace/fire box completely cleaned and overhauled at the price of $before the saleThere were also inspections done for the sale in September so we knew the fireplace was working and safeWhen I talked to Marshal in November he stated that when they come out they have a point system that they perform on the fireplaces that guarantee the fireplace will be properly working when they leftIt will be $and they will do the work when they are hereThey will not come out and assess

I am sending this issue for my mama who is years oldon 06-08- Carolina Ductmasters were to cap two chimmy's
*** paid $dollars for these chimmy's two be cappedThey finished one on the chimmy'sThe second chimmy was capped and the next time we had a storm which was within a two weeks, the cap blow offCarolina came out and repaired it, we thoughtWell it blew off againThis time they took the piece back to reconstruct the capIt was weeks before they came backSo my Within the week the service man came out a put the tin back onSo the manager lied to us about the chimmy being repair
The tin just didn't say on the chimmyWe have called the several times and a couple of employees have been here but cannot get the tin to stay on the chimmyWe have been going back and forth for over a year with this matter.Then in June of this year they finally told us that it cannot be capped jSo my mama wanted some of her money back for the chimmey that cann
