Dissatisfied to say the least. I recently retired and my wife applied for assistance for her prescription that, with insurance, is nearly $300 a month out of pocket. The application required mailing and/or faxing all necessary documents. That was the first red flag, very primitive by today's standards. We quickly realized the reason for the method is simply to aggravate and/or discourage individuals to continue the process. After 45 plus days, multiple phone conversations with customer support and additional Dr. required forms sent, they declined her application. Our income was too much was the reasoning (they missed the fact that I had retired). After another conversation with customer support the error was pointed out and they located our documentation of retirement. A week ago her application was sent through the appeal process WITH our documentation of my recent retirement only to find out today that they "no longer" have the retirement document on file. The customer service representative today was rude and told us "THEY NEVER had the document!" So AbbVie, you win, WE are aggravated and discouraged and give up on the ridiculous process.
