Company responded by phone 1/25/17-nkmMike the general manager states that he is willing to refund the consumer half on the parts

I have specified for the customer to come into the dealership and have his brakes looked at again with the technicianIf we fill it was not fixed correctly we will reimburse him

everything they can.Michael Fsaid he then called the consumer but got his voicemail so he left the consumer a detailed voicemail message apologizing for any inconvenience the consumer had and told him he can come to the dealership to schedule a meeting with Michael F., the Service Manager, and the technician who worked on the consumer's car and together they can review what was done on the consumer's car and ensure that it was fixed correctlyMichael Falso said he told the consumer the business will do what it can to correct this matter

I spent 3-hours on this and made different phone calls, and had different meetings with my staff members trying to help the customer and be fair on a year old car with an as is warranty which was perfect when we sold it.Customer bought a pre owned year old Hyundai car from usIt is a real
nice carCustomer never had a problem with the car, and states she took it to a Hyundai dealership to have open recall works done to it.Customer called me that the car is at a dealership in Sharon Pa, with a bad transmissionThis was news to everyoneThe dealership in Pa said the repairs would cost $2800.I had called the dealership in Sharon Pa to see if they can help her, I called the customer and said I feel bad, and I will give good will money of $to help pay eventhough the car did not have warranty, and eventhough we were not the last dealership that worked on her car.. The other dealership that looked at the customers car may have done something, while it was in their shop to cause this, however I have no proof, and I am not even going to open up that can of worms,when the customer came in yesterday we cut her a check for $1000.00, and with accepting the check their is no more money due, and we had fulfilled our obligation .I am very surprised to be getting this Revdex.com complaint as I felt I went over and beyond to help out the customer. we do offer extended warranties on our car which the customer declined because she was not in the position to buy one
