Complantiant's vehicle was towed to our shop on 4-4-17, as we had received an electronic assignment for vehicle on 4-4-at 4:pmAn estimate to repair was written and submitted to insurance company on 4-5-17, vehicle was at 69% lossWe could not proceed with repairs until approval from
insurance company On 5-9-insurance requested tear down in order for any additional damage to be seen Headlamp had to be removed in order to remove fender, front passenger door was crushed, rear passenger door had damage, rear body panel was damaged, it had to be removed in order to see frame damage, frame was bent, liner from trunk had to be removed to see floor pan damageInsurance co then deemed vehicle a total loss Insurance co agreed to pay tow bill and tear down timePayments are received electronicallyDuring this time complantant's representative was kept in contact with: we spoke with him on 4/13, 5/ Once deemed total loss we told him we would contact him when payment was received, as he indicated he would have the vehicle picked upPayment was sent on 5-16-We received it on 5-22-Representative was called on 5-22-He stated he would try to get vehicle picked up soonThe damaged parts were placed in vehicle and vehicle was moved outside as this is standard procedure for a total loss vehicle Insurance company will not pay for reassembly of a total loss vehicleComplantiant never ask for any type estimate to reassemble the vehicleOn 5-31-she called to say she pick up on 6-2-Another tow service did come on 6-2-17, she came in office and got keysAt 11:am she called stating vehicle would not start, tried to explain maybe battery was dead from vehicle sitting, she began cursing saying she had charged battery for hours (we had been open for 3) she then began saying we messed up her car, calling the mechanic an it, at which point phone was hung up, at 11:(as phone records show) she called back when answered she again began another verbal rant , cursing and stated she was contacting the Revdex.com as well as an attorney, advised her to do so and again phone was hung up as no person should have to withstand such verbal abuseWhen she first phoned on 6-2-was going to offer to send someone to jump start vehicle (at not cost) but was unable to get a word in to do so We do strive to satisfy our customers and treat them and their property with the greatest of respectIt is unfortunate, she was dissatisfied with our service as well as the appearance of our office, we do have a lot of paperwork, and toys are provided for the children of patrons , they also serve as a comfort to children whom have been involved in accidents
