ABC Auto Shipping, Inc Reviews (2)

Review: My husband and I engaged ABC Auto Shipping and their subcontractor, Elite Trucking Corp at a total cost of $2,310 to move our two vehicles cross-country. We paid ABC Auto Shipping $310 to facilitate the move and $2,000 to Elite Trucking Corp to make the shipment.

-ABC Auto Shipping was supposed to ensure that Elite Trucking Corp's driver communicated 24 hours in advance of the pick-up with either my husband or I. They were supposed to make sure that pick up and delivery went smoothly and they were supposed to select and communicate pick up and drop off locations that were mutually convenient for both the driver and us, as the customers. Finally, they were supposed to connect us with a sub-contractor who would move our cars in a professional and safe manner.

-In fact, they gave us incorrect contact information and the wrong name for the driver. They were unavailable when we called to tell them that the driver had not been in touch with us 24 hours in advance, so we had to wait the entire day for whoever the driver was to call us. AS as result, the driver came to a pick-up location we had never agreed upon and we weren't there. We had to, as the clients, rearrange the entire pick up process and search for other locations to load the vehicles onto the carrier.

-Upon delivery, the company driver subcontracted by ABC Auto shipping called me "baby" to try to appease me when he was 4 hours late to delivery, despite repeatedly confirming that he would be there on time. ABC Auto did not check in on the delivery to get an update or to confirm that things were going smoothly. They were totally uninvolved, after collecting our payment. They did not provide the coordination that they were contracted to do.

ABC Auto tried to offer a paltry $50 to keep me from reporting their total lack of service.

Want to see the evidence? Check out this link: [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would have liked a full refund of my $310 from ABC Auto Shipping and the promise that they will no longer use Elite Trucking Corp. as a sub contractor. ABC Auto was unwilling to provide this, so I have reported them for a total lack of customer service and for not honoring their contract.

6/16/2015 drive.google.com/folderv… The information for the transporters is always given to the customers and we are available during business hours to help our customers if needed. Everything is written in email contract and must be read by customer. If you fail to read the contract and emails sent to you, we cannot be reliable. The price paid is less than most transporter offer and your vehicles were delivered 4 days before the estimated delivery dates. No refund is given if and only if the driver was stuck in traffic, held up by other customers or if there was a miscommunication. We always state in the email contract that customers should not go to the meeting location and wait for driver cause there might be delays. We transport hundreds of cars weekly and delays may occur but in this case your cars arrived 4 days sooner safe and sound. The $50 was just an offer for your inconvenience which had nothing to do we us. Anytime a refund is issued it is our policy to request a written release form. To request a full refund is unfair and not honored by our company. We take proud in offering honest and great service, and explaining the transportation process verbally on the phone and in are emails, unlike most other brokers. If we do not have availability on our own trucks or do not service a particular route, we let you know.Below is statement from our agent Royal: The statements and accusations made directly at me on this YELP page by [redacted] are completely inaccurate, and simply not true. I was contacted in the beginning by her husband, and communicated over a month by phone, emails, and text messages. That was just the beginning1. ORDER FORM -After the customer Mr. [redacted] agreed to the Total of $2,300.00, I dispatched the vehicles, and sent the ORDER FORM with the addresses for both PICK UP & DELIVERY MEETING PLACES. It clearly says in the body of the email to review the ORDER FORM to ensure there are no errors. If they had reviewed the ORDER FORM, they would have seen the MEETING LOCATIONS. As much attention to detail they are spending on making negative statements about me and ABC Auto Shipping. I find it hard to believe they didn't read a CONTRACT in the amount of $2,300.00.2. DISPATCH NOTICE - This includes the NAME & PHONE NUMBER of the TRANSPORTER. (THIS WAS PROVIDED TO ME FROM THE TRANSPORTER TO SEND TO MY CUSTOMER, Mr. [redacted]) I did not know the Transporter assigned a different driver. Nobody called me to tell me otherwise. It also says on this email if you do not hear from the driver/transporter 24 hours in advance, please call them. If you have questions, or need anything - DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL ME. 3. STATING I WAS TOO BUSY WITH MY FAMILY ON SUNDAY TO HELP THEM?I woke up right at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. I had a TEXT MESSAGE from Mr. [redacted]. I responded with a text right away telling him if he needs anything to please let me know. Mrs. [redacted] called me late Sunday evening, and I was in fact with my family. We had just gotten some bad news about a family member and were visiting them that day. But I answered her call when my cell phone rang. I was surprised right away of how she was speaking to me. This was the very first time I ever spoke with her at all. I told her that I sent all the emails to her husband, and texted him at 8:00 a.m. that morning, and he never responded with anything. She never told me about the driver texting her any messages. She never spoke to me about him being a different driver. And she claimed I never sent any meeting places/addresses to them. She called me a liar, and told me that I never communicated anything.I WILL FINISH WITH THIS- I was emailed by [redacted] demanding a refund of $310.00 or she was going to give us bad reviews and report us to Revdex.com. [redacted] only sent that letter for her to sign because he told her he could pay her $50.00. She said $50.00 was not enough and she was going to review us. 5 minutes later she called back and said to [redacted], ok, send the letter, and I will sign it for $50.00. So she obviously wanted that letter to turn it around like we made her the offer. Just as she turned my text message around telling her I was with my family and too busy to help her.WANT TO SEE MY EVIDENCE, HERE IT ISOrder Form sent Thursday - 3 days before pick up date.Dispatch Notice - States, do not hesitate to call me if you need anything.Text message - She forgot to mention that I sent that morning. Clearly I told her husband I was going to be with my family, but if they need me to let me know. I never heard anything until later in the evening. This was the first time I was told about any problems, at all. Also the first time I ever spoke with Mrs. [redacted]. - If I had her contact info in the beginning, I would have emailed her also.

Review: This company is dishonest. The following are the problems:1. Initially they gave you the impression that they are a transportation company, but it is not true, they are just an agent. 2. The altitude is very bad. It has been 25 days since my car was picked up. There are four damages in the wheel and surface. So far, they didn't give me any satisfactory response for repair. In addition, the insulted me by saying that I am dishonest and wanted to fix the car free. 3. They used two different companies, both of them are terrible. This is how they are trying to resolve the issue. That man [redacted] told me that they will first act as the middle man to resolve it internally then file the claim. But I need to wait 20 days to start. You should know that if you have the insurance company's name, you can start right away. Then today they gave me the insurance info for the local company, Red Baron Transport, but I need to have both, they refuse to give me the interstate transportation company's insurance. I don't know why? It is required by law that the customer can get the insurance info! This is how bad ABC behaves. The first long distance company is called Monway express. 4. I think the reason is that, the first driver didn't inspect the car, while they should have had. So if I file against them, they should have the responsibility. They claim that it is not possible to inspect, then I sent a picture (not detailed but just show the car pick up for me own reference), the road light is very bright. I just want to use this picture as a proof that it IS possible to inspect the car. Then you guess what this "[redacted]" (but I think it is just "[redacted]") respond? They say that it cannot prove anything since it didn't show the comparison! I said very clearly that this is to show the driver can inspect, especially on the wheel there is no snow. But they insulted me further, as I said before, they say to me that I am not honest and wanted to fix the car for free! * picture only shows one damage. Only one pic allowed.

(1) They are the broker and told me the shipping is fully insured. But when I contacted the insurance companies of Monway Express and Red Baron Transportation, both of their policies do NOT carry the coverage for cargo and car they haul. So I am in a position where there is no insurance and only ABC AUTO SHIPPING can cover the damage by themselves. Because of this, ABC is dishonest and I am not sure whether shipping the car without insurance is a violation of law.Desired Settlement: Fix my car completely in a timely manner within one week.No matter you go through the real transportation's insurance or pay by ABC!The price is approximately $2000 from a dealer, I can provide the exact amount later.

(1) ABC AUTO SHIPPING presents the complete policy document of Monway Express and Red Baron Transportation to me, they legally have the obligation to do it.

(2) ABC AUTO SHIPPING covers all the repair cost, I have already sent the quote to them in a certified Infiniti repair, but so far they didn't respond. The amount is about $1800.
