Business states that they have contacted the consumer directly to apologize for the inconvenience. The business will be sending out the check by mail today along with a coupon for a free class.

Signed up for a class and paid a $100 deposit. Had to cancel class. Did so within guidelines but never received deposit back. Signed up for class back in November and paid $100 deposit. Had to cancel class and did so within guidelines. Notified via phone and email. Received email on 11/18 saying cancellation was processed and to allow up to 30 days for funds to be deposited. I still have not received my money and today is 2/20. I have sent multiple emails and have called several times. When I call the Raleigh number I am told they cannot help me that I have to deal with corporate through email. I have sent emails on 2/20, 1/27, 1/25, 1/8, 12/31, 12/19 and 11/18. I think this is excessive just to get a refund. Please help me get my money back. I would like to thank the Revdex.com for helping me resolve this because clearly the business was not willing to work with me alone in dealing with this issue. They very clearly needed someone else to step in and guide the disagreement.

Review: I signed up for bartending classes over the phone with ABC Bartending School in February 2016. I paid the $150 tuition over the phone with my ATM/credit card. I was unable to attend the class due to unforeseen circumstances. I mailed a certified letter to ABC Bartending school requesting a refund with a letter of explanation. I did not hear back from the company after 30 days. I contacted them and the customer service rep said to give it a couple of days for the refund to appear on my card. So I called my bank two business days later, still no refund from ABC Bartending school. I called the school that Saturday and spoke with someone named [redacted]. He asked me to call back on Monday when he would be in the office and he would refund my money asap. So I called him on Monday. He said to give him 20 minutes to research it and he would call me back. Two hours later still return call from [redacted]. I called him back and he said to give it a few minutes and my money will be right back on my card. I called my bank this morning, still no refund. I am now contacting Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would like my $150 refunded back to me as promised.
