This date given is not the date given to my Attorney in regards to the debt attempting to be collectedBeing that the debt is medical, and I filed Chapter BK, if I had been sent a bill prior to this inappropriate action I would have simply added it to the BKI am not disputing the actual bill its selfI merely want to ensure that Social Security Numbers are not distributed to various people without consent!

The latest account was listed with our office by the original creditor on one day and payment was reported by the medical practice a few days laterThis new account was cross indexed with a second unpaid account that was in our systemThe letter was sent out showing the paid account and the second

I am not satisfied with this response because the creditor did not attempt to conact me before they mailed a sensitive document to a random business Had the person on the phone discussed anything with me they would know I am not filing bankruptsy, I filed bankruptsy a few years agoPlease give your current and future debtors the courtesy of knowing their private information is safe with your companyAs to the fact that I didn't know about the debt, my law firm also had no idea about the debt because I filed BK back in roughly and this debt was incurred in 2010, this would have been included in that if any attempt was made prior

This is response to the complaint number listed above. The letter the consumer refers to was not sent to any individual but to a company to verify the consumer's employment. Employment verification requires that we provide information so the employer is able verify...

present employment, that was the sole purpose of this employment verification request.
If someone other than the employer is opening the mail the consumer can provide us with this person(s) name and contact information file a complaint against the person who has tampered with the US mail.
We have also received a call from an a law firm who stated they represent the consumer, they questioned why the disputed letter was sent and we explained to them the information above. They did not say the consumer was unaware of the debt but instead advised us the consumer is filing bankruptcy.
If the consumer is in need of information regarding this debt please advise us and we will provide it. Currently we cannot contact the consumer regarding debts her attorney is saying she is filing in bankruptcy.
If you see that we can do anything further just let us know.
