Based on the pictures from the jobsite, I see no way the damage could have occurred without some kind of outside influence of the door system operation and therefore it would not be a warranty item However, it is not worth my time and effort to continue to dispute the issue Therefore,
I will instruct my office to repiar the door at no charge to the customer
We definitely had a series of unfortunate events in conjunction with this job. The customer has an older operator that my technician was unable to get the radio transmitters to program. He failed to communicate this to the office before the customer called the next day. On the 11th
all the managers for ABC Door were out of the office various reasons, some unforseen. The technician that was going to be in Santa Fe on the 11th called in sick. I did call the customer in the late afternoon when I was able to get back to the office and find out what had occurred. I offered to personally come out to the jobsite the next morning. At that point she was set on returning the door. At this point we have removed the door at her request

I am rejecting this response because: This business puts blame on me. I had a different company put the garage door in. It took only 1 and 1/2 hours where as ABC doors took 7 hours and still the door got stuck when opening. The new company programed new remotes with no difficulty, ABC door could not program the remotes I ordered and they blame my opener as the fault. Furthermore, when I call to get someone back to finish their job they want to schedule me for the next week. The receptionist also told me that the garage door was suppose to stop half way and then to push the remote again to finish opening. Buyer beware of this company, they lie to the customer to cover their own mistakes. Regards,
