Tell us why here...January 13, 2017In response to the complaint to the Revdex.com, Ms*** was given a tour of the facility on 12/5/by the Assistant Director, *** ***During the tour it was explained to Ms*** the details of escrow, tuition and the registration
fee, all being non-refundableIt was also during this time that the policy about vacations and drop off times were gone overOn Friday 12/9/16, Ms*** brought in her child’s completed enrollment formsMs***’s daughter’s first day at ABC Early Childhood Learning Center was on 12/12/16. The enrollment paperwork that Ms*** returned and signed referenced the parent handbook in two separate placesOn the form JFS Ms*** checked yes in the box that states, “I have reviewed and received a copy of the center’s or type A home’s policies and procedures/handbook.” She also signed an ABC enrollment form on 12/6/stating, “I have read and understand and will adhere to the policies in the ABC Early Childhood Learning Center’s Parent Handbook.” On 12/21/Ms*** stated that her daughter would be out of the center until 1/3/She asked if we could freeze her enrollment and not charge her until she returned from vacationWe explained to her that she is not eligible for a vacation credit yet and that would not be possibleShe stated that she didn’t understand why we would charge her when she wasn’t in attendanceAgain we explained to her that she is not eligible for a vacation credit until she has been enrolled for monthsThere was no contact from Ms*** the week of 1/2/16-1/6/nor did the child attend the centerAt this time we dis-enrolled the child and moved over her two week escrow due to the child not attending and also after seeing a negative yelp review therefore assuming that the child would not be returning She arrived at the center on 1/9/with a note for her two week noticeAt that time it was explained to her that her child was dis-enrolledIn the parent handbook it states, “We also reserve the right to withdraw your child without notice if we feel it is in the best interest of your child as well as the best interest of other children or the center.”She then asked for her money back and it was explained to her that her two week escrow was nonrefundable, as stated in the handbookA few hours later on 1/9/she called and stated that if her money was not refunded to her then she was making a complaint with the Revdex.com Attached are copies of the enrollment paperwork signed by Ms***.Thank you,ABC Administration
