ABC Global Systems, Inc Reviews (6)

This is one of the worst experiences with a financial companySupposedly, they offer low processing rates, plus they advertise a refund for overpayment the month before you sign up with themThey keep calling 2-times a day until you sign up, then, you can't find that person on the phone anymoreShe is either sick, or indisposed, or whatever else, just not to be found
Long story short, there is no refund that you'll get, instead you'll get only headaches
After each transaction processed, there was a problemEither money took (much) longer than they say it should take (24-hrs), or there were issues with fees that were posted to my account by mistake! I understood that a mistake can occur, and asked to be fixedA partial refund was receivedI asked them to refund everything they owed to me and close the accountemails sent, no responseNo credit, but guess what? Another unauthorized transactions appearedCompletely unacceptable behavior, terrible customer service, please do yourself a favor and stay away

Review: I started processing with the business more than a year ago. When I started with them, I was told that if I close my business or sell my business I will not be charged any termination fees for the contract. In May I closed my business and informed them. I was told that I will be contacted by the management for the next step. They have had my email address from the start and instead of sending the email to my right address, they changed one alphabet of the email address. I did not receive the email, and after 20 days they charged my account a termination fee of $495. In addition they charged me the service fee for the month of June. I called and asked why was I not contacted and charged those fees. They still told me somebody from management will get back to me. After another week I contacted them again and was able to talk with someone from the cancellation department. The representative told me that I was sent an email, and after checking into it, I was told that they sent the email to the wrong address. The representative asked me to send them a notarized letter about my business being closed and gave me the directions to return the equipment. I provided them with the letter and returned the equipment. I was told that the situation will be discussed with upper management and I will be notified about their decision to refund the fees they charged me. I got an email from them stating that the service fee for the month of June was charged because I sent them an official letter in June instead of May, so I was still a customer for the month of June. They told me that the termination fee was charged because the business was not shut down, but it was sold, even though I explained to them that I closed my business and the property owner rented it to another person to open it again. According to their explanation, the business is not closed if it is still being run. I have dissolved my corporation and do not have anything to do with that business anymore. If someone else rents the business and start running it, according to them that means the business is not closed and I am responsible to tell the new owner to continue processing with them or pay the termination fee. In addition, after charging me the cancellation fee, they charged me the monthly service fee again in July.Desired Settlement: I would like them to explain their policy about termination and what constitutes a business closure. I am sure they are not going to refund me the early termination fee, because they are telling their customers something else verbally, and putting something else on the contract. I would like a refund of the service fee they charged me for the month of July.

The complaint filed on 7/**/2014 will be answered in the order of the merchant’s reasoning.

This merchant commenced processing one year of cancellation of his account. The initial term for this agreement is three years according to the Merchant Agreement (attached).

When the merchant had commenced processing with ABC Global Systems, he was given the “Service Satisfaction Guarantee” (attached) which allows him to exit the agreement without the early termination if; “the location is out of business, and presents ABC supporting documents for the closure. Merchant will be Responsible for all applicable discount, surcharge, monthly fees, or any other charges that accrued to the Merchant Account”. This clause in the “Service Satisfaction Guarantee” do not cover if the business is sold. [redacted] contacted his sales representative in June, 2014 about the cancellation of the account. The merchant was then sent an email about the cancellation of his account to the email address on file. To our knowledge, the email address was correct since it was inputted on the merchant application and signed by the merchant. The email address on the merchant application is [redacted] (see attachment for the merchant application). Therefore, the follow- up email was sent to that email address.

An account is only billed after the billing cycle has completed. Hence, The monthly service fee charged in June, 2014 would be for May, 2014 and the fee charged in July,2014 was applied to June,2014 since that is the month the official notice of cancellation was received.

According to our research, [redacted] have not dissolved his corporation. Even though the notarized letter was sent, the corporation remain undissolved with Illinois Secretary of State. Attached is Sony Submarine (the corporation name) “Corporation File Detail Report” with the state that lists the merchant’s name has the existing owner of the business along with the correct address on file. The state’s corporation report do not have the “status” of the corporation as dissolved( see attachment for this report).

To Answer the: “Consumer’s Desired Resolution”:

ABC Global Systems “Terms and Termination” can be found at section 13 of the Merchant Agreement which was provided to the merchant. A business closure is constituted when it is dissolved within the respective States in the U.S. Since this merchant have not dissolved his corporation with Illinois, the business is not considered closed. Again, the service fee charged in July,2014 was for June, 2014. This was charged because the merchant had officially terminated his account in June, 2014.

Thank you.

Review: as of Sept 2012, we are no longer in business (stat medical lab) therefore we called ABC global to terminate our account and sent ABC global a signed letter form to cancel the services . They contacted us and informed us that we have completed all steps to terminate our account with ABC Global. Even though our account is terminated; ABC global decided to charge us a service charge from our bank account every month from Sept ,Oct, Nov, Dec,2012 AND the charges continue. We sent them their credit machine and they assured us that they received it. Then they said they haven't received it. They are playing games and lying to us bringing us in circles. They continue to harass us even though our account is terminated. This needs to stop.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded.

Response:

This merchant has been contacted numerous times by our office requesting for her to send the machine back per contract that she signed. She kept insisting that she sent it back yet we never received it. We requested proof from her and she said at first that she will try to find it. We kept the file open in order not to charge her for the machine not being received. Everything is in the contract and forms that she signed. We only go by contract.
