When I went online to research movers I was frankly terrified! There were so many negative reviewsUltimately we chose Allied because of their national presence and ABC was their local affiliateWe ended up having a very positive experience in our move from MA to FL in AugustThe in home estimate was accurate and honoredThe mover arrived on time with a great helper and they packed and wrapped our furniture with great careWe had boxed most of our things ourselvesThe driver kept us informed, provided a good estimate of a planned delivery date that was spot onOn a long distance move you are provided an day window of possible delivery dates and ours fell in the middle of that rangeSince we were driving down to FL we were only without our things a couple of daysDelivery was so smooth! Everything was carefully reassembled, placed just where we indicated, and nothing was broken or damagedOur only regret was that we wished we had trusted them to move more of our things! It can't be denied that a long distance moved is very expensive, but it can be a smooth experience as well
