My mother was getting cleaning service from Star Home Care/ABC Ocheltree, Inc, which Senior Options uses these people. My mother has emphysemia and dementia. The cleaning lady named [redacted], was to work 2 hrs everyother week. Not once has my mother house every looked real clean. Everytime I went over I would have to clean kitchen, sweep, dust, etc. Well I hadn't been there for almost a month and neither had [redacted], because my mom forgot twice that [redacted] was to be there cleaning. The dementia is getting worse. So I happened to be at her home on 2/13/2014 cleaning out my moms closets when [redacted] showed up. Now her job is to mop floors, sweep floors, clean sinks, toilets, tub, showers, wipe kitchen counters, stove, frig, take out trash, and her little sun room was included to sweep, shake rugs cause this is her way in and out of home and to let dog out. It always looked dirty. On the day Feb 13 2014 she mopped kitchen, 2 bath floors, ran vacuum in 2 bedrooms and living room. She cleaned toilets per say, and dusted only a couple things. I had her clean toilet over, I wouldn't have sat on it. I had to ask her to clean the sun room. Then this was all done in 1hr and then she sat down and watched tv with mom the other hr. I said aren't you suppose to be cleaning since you get paid 2hrs to clean, she said, now would you tell them you only worked 1hr but could get pd for 2. So she proceed to finish watching tv and I said, you know my mom is on a fixed income. She still sat and watched tv. I called Star Home care and reported her, told them she was stealing from the company and my mother. They said she has been our longest employee. I figured they would fire her. I cancelled service with them. Star Home Care called mom back on Feb 26th and ask her if she wanted [redacted] to come back and clean for her. So here I am putting this out there to support our Senior Citizens, that this should not happen and should be investigated. And [redacted] asked me to take the trash out.....do you believe that.
