Please be advised that this customers vehicle was repossessed by our company for past due payments by his auto lending company. The driver pulled up and the unit was sitting in the street and the driver backed up and hooked the unit and left the area within seconds. At no time did anyone ever come... out of any house or say anything to the driver. The unit was then towed to the Nassau County 3rd Police Station and was logged in as a repossession as required by law. The unit was the transported to our storage facility and plates removed and returned to the NYS DMV as required by law. The unit is sitting in our storage yard and is locked up and everything in place as we did not open unit at anytime. Please be advised that [redacted] called my office several times and was nasty and rude and cursed many times over during the conversation. He threatened to come to our yard whenever he wanted and to proceed to the his property out of the unit. One of my office girls told him we have certain hours that we release property to customer and they are from 11am-4pm Mon-Fri. He again was verbally abusive and said he would come whenever the hell he wanted to. My manager Joe got on the phone with [redacted] and asked what the problem was and he said that he came out and told driver to leave the unit and not tow it away. Prior to this call he told my office girl that a neighbor went out and told driver not to take the car. Neither was the case. Joe called driver and spoke to him and driver again claimed no one came out at all. We have GPS on all our trucks and the truck picked up the unit at 2:24am and left at 2:26am and arrived at the police station at 2:33am. [redacted] says the unit was picked up at 2:48am which is not true and we have proof. After Joe hung up the phone because [redacted] started cursing at him he then called back and told one of the office girls that and I quote "You better put joe on the [redacted] phone now or I will be there in an hour with the police and have him arrested. My office girl said "I will not be spoken to with that kind of language" and hung up phone. [redacted] never came in for his property today and did not call back. No one from Empire was nasty or abusive and no one cursed except Mr [redacted] !!!! We have also filed a complaint with [redacted] s auto finance company and we will also be filing a complaint with the local police department of the threats made.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE DRIVER NEVER DAMAGED THE CAR IN ANYWAY WHATSOEVER. THE CUSTOMER CAME OUT OF THE HOUSE AND ASKED TO GET PROPERTY OUT OF VEHICLE WHICH HE THE TOOK 2 BAGS OUT OF THE BACK SEAT! We did not damage this persons car in anyway whatsoever and she is trying to get me to pay for damages that have been done way prior to us towing her car!! The whole front end underneath was all rusted and scraped up most likely from the city streets she drives on! We towed the car from the front
tires as it is a front wheel drive car and did not do any damage at all! She first tried to get us to put a whole new front end in the car then she tries to get us to replace old rusted parts in the front end! I am an honest person but I will not be taken advantage of from a person who is dishonest! This customer left our office saying she heard a rubbing noise in the front of her car and that's what we said to have a mechanic check! She gets a flat tire on her way home and drives it back with a doughnut that was flat and then says we damaged her car!
