My name is Eric ***, and I am the owner of Hornor's Frame and Collision, a collision repair shop located in
Monett, Mo
This letter is in response to a variety of complaints that have been issued by a customer after a recent repair was made, by our shop, on her Ford Ranger truckI have read the complaint section of the complaint activity report case #*** and from this list of complaints I can only comment on the loose windshield moldings and the back glass weatherstripSince these two complaints are directly related to the actual repairs that were performed on this vehicleI will make the following suggestion: If the complainant would agree to take her vehicle to ***, I will meet with her at the appointment time set and we can have the glass shop look at these moldingsIf the glass shop says that the moldings need correcting due to the repairs that were performed, then I will consider paying to have the corrections on the glass moldings madeI suggest *** because they are a reputable glass shop and they are not the glass shop that I use normally, nor were they the glass shop that did the repairs to the vehicle in question
Hornor's has been in business since We take great pride in our past, present, and future success of providing a quality repair service, at a fair price and within an acceptable time frameWe are not perfect and we make corrections if the situation calls for a correctionOur record of repairs stands on its ownJust this past summer, we have repaired over hail claims for people in the Monett communityFrom this recent storm damage, this is the only customer that has been disappointed with the completed repairsIt is extremely rare that we receive complaints from any customer accusing our shop or one of our vendors of inflicting additional damages to their vehicleI want all repairs to be good and want every customer to be happy

I do appreciate Mr*** offer, but saying he would "consider paying" for a very small amount of the damages does not even began to correct the problemsThe insurance adjuster said the burns in the headliner were caused during the repair and that I could file a claim for them and a few other small damagesBut I don't think that it is right for my insurance company to pay for damage done while in the repair shop! I feel like it is the responsibility of the repair shopThe only way I would agree to Mr*** offer is if all of the other damages were also addressed and corrected
