that does NOTHING TO STOP THE THEFTS... I contemplating a class action suit because they have let the ramps go to pot, they do however patrol where the police park their cars... if I had a choice I would not pay them but I have no choice...police reports do nothing either because they don't even try to find the regular thieves...
Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/15) */
Our response to Mr *** below
Good Afternoon,
Thank you for the emailI do understand your frustration with this part of our system and I do share your concernsWith a high-volume event such as a Twins game, we currently feel it is
necessary to charge at entry rather than at exit in order to meet our customers' expectations in terms of exit timeDue to limitations in the technology, the ability to charge at entrance eliminates the possibility of accepting credit card paymentsAs you've noticed, one of our secondary systems that is in place to allow parkers to exit immediately without paying cannot be used for this purpose either because it causes an incorrect charge at exitThe rate in effect when you parked was $13.00, and I'm assuming you were charged our night rate of $This is why those tickets are not allowed to be presented as an alternative form of charging on a credit cardThose tickets are only to be presented with instructions that the parker must leave within fifteen minutesIt is in fact correct that we currently are not able to properly charge you the event rate by credit cardThis is why we do not present that option
Outside of our pre-paid event operations, we do accept credit card payments, and this is generally the use case of our day-to-day parkersWe hope to be able to allow credit card payment during Twins events at some time in the future
Add'l Information:
Mr*** was able to park for the game and was only Charged $5.25, a loss to us of $When we are in event mode the windmaster sign indicates Event Mode Cash or check OnlyWe are working on a solution to accept credit cards also
