On June 1, 2015 a gentleman named Stephen came into our shop and an estimate was written for the 2008 Nissan Rouge. A few days later,...

on June 4th, we received a call and was told that the claim for this vehicle was a Lynx claim and the vehicle owner was [redacted], so Jon updated the estimate to reflect this change.
On June 9th, then, [redacted] received a phone call from Steve at Lynx inquiring as to whether or not we had looked at the vehicle, and if so requesting a copy of the estimate we had written. We sent him a copy along with a note stating that the vehicle was not yet scheduled for repairs and we would keep him posted as to when it would be here. He replied, "Ok."
After speaking with Steve, we then made two attempts, on June 9th and June 10th, to contact [redacted], the vehicle owner, but she did not answer nor reply either time.
More than a month later, on July 22nd, we received a fax from [redacted] at [redacted] for the same vehicle, 2008 Nissan Rouge. On this claim, however, there was more damage figured than we had written on our original estimate, and Lynx was not noted anywhere. Susie then called [redacted] and explained the entire history of the situation thus far. Jim said that as soon as the vehicle got to us to let him know and he would come take a look at the vehicle and decide what needed to be done.
Sometime between July 22nd and July 27th Koester's Body Shop was able to make contact with [redacted] to get her vehicle scheduled for repairs. She told us that she would bring the vehicle in on July 30th. No parts were ordered at this time as we weren't sure exactly what needed done. In the mean time, on July 28th Koester's received all the paper work Lynx requires to be filled out.
On July 29th, [redacted] dropped the vehicle off at Koester's Body Shop, however she did not leave the keys in the vehicle. We had to wait until that afternoon to get the keys from her and by that time, Jim (Westfield) was not going to be able to make it to look at the vehicle until the morning of July 31st. Once Jim came the morning of the 31st, and told us what we were to do we were able to get parts ordered and proceed with work on the vehicle.
At this point the predicted projected out date was 8/12/15 as long as there weren't any unforeseen problems. However, we did run into some parts issues such as receiving the wrong air bag and lights on the dash. This pushed the projected out date back to 8/14.
On 8/13/15 Stephen, who originally came in for the estimate on the Rouge, stopped in the shop. He told us that the parts set back was not a big deal and that he was paying the difference for the rental car as he was the one driving it anyway.
On 8/14/15 when the Rouge went through final inspection, the air bag light came back on and the blower motor was not working. At this time, we again ordered new parts in order to properly repair this vehicle. At this time, we made contact with [redacted], who told us she appreciated the update. Once the parts came in we made the appropriate repairs and [redacted] picked up the vehicle on 8/20/15. We worked on the vehicle from 7/31/15-8/20/15 a total of 15 business days with repairs costing $8,111.20.
During the process of repairing this vehicle we were contacted numerous times by the rental company in which she was renting a vehicle from for the status of repairs. Among conversation the last time we were in contact with them we were informed that [redacted] was in a rental car starting on July 16th, 13 days prior to her dropping her car off to us. We were also told that her insurance company was paying for the rental up through August 21st, the day after she picked her vehicle up from us, and as of August 26, 2015 she still had not returned the rental vehicle.
