On 7/16/A-B-E glass was replacing the glass on a sliding glass door for me and the job that was supposed to take hrs only took min Since the price of the job was based on hours of labor, I asked them if they could adjust the price since the job was completed much fasterThey agreed to take off $or they said they could order a new screen door for me since the existing screen door was not functioning very well The new screen door had a cost of $so I would only be responsible for an add'l $over what I had already paid for the glass doorThe installer called his office and told them to order the screen door which would take 3-weeks to get in After not hearing from A-B-E for weeks I called them on 09/to find out the status of my screen doorThey claimed that they had called me the week prior and left me a message stating it was inI never received a message or call from them and my mobile phone logs confirm thatNevertheless, I went to pick up the screen
In January of we contacted ABE Glass regarding installation of a new shower door The owner responded promptly, took the necessary measurements and ultimately performed the installation It turns out that the frame is about an inch higher than the actual shower door, making for an unappealing appearance We voiced our concern and he did return and take the measurements and indicated a new door would be ordered "to size" After waiting a number of weeks wand hearing nothing we contacted ABE and was told there was a problem with the supplier, then after another call that it was on order After several more phone calls, without success, we stopped in the office on occasions and requested a call back from the owner No call has been received We explained we were willing to work with him to resolve this issue, but are unable to receive a reply
