On Feb 14-,I received service request from Road America to pick up a vehicle from Rancho CordovaAbout miles from my location.this tow was for miles to west sacramento.we were agree for $out of pocket expense .when my driver arrived to the location of the vehicle , the lady (Paula joy) asked my driver for miles tow.My driver called me about the situation , I told my driver it will be the same charges Because you drive about miles gate to gate.and she paid the said amount.The next day I received a phone call from road America regarding this complaintThey knew no one drives about miles for miles tow out of his region.Finally we agree to return $back to customer and I give this amount credit to Road Americathanks [redacted] *** owner
I am rejecting this response because: This does not address the issue of the unprofessionalism of the driverAnd the shady practices of this company I had the car towed from the shop to my home miles away the next week and was charged only a $overage and the driver managed to find the hook the driver from Abeels spent minutes "looking for" in my trunkThis driver was also courteous in the way he provided the serviceThe driver from Abeels did not contact the owner before hooking up my car so that I would be aware of the charges prior to agreeing to the service and when my service coordinator attempted to call the company, there was no answer for minutes and I was forced to pay the charge in order to regain possession of my car

I was refunded $40 by Road America of the $95 out of pocket fee I was charged.
